Not once did he reference using the hong kong gap as a time reference for the OTHER charts. This is mine and I am happy to share it with the world. Use it or dont.

hmmm... what am I missing here, he has the time on the right of the screen and you can clearly see that it's 24 hour clock time which lets you know if it's AM or PM. Let me know if I'm missing something obvious... but I'm kind of confused as to why you can't work it out from that?

I tried it on GJ and it doesn't really show anything meaningful or particularly useful. It showed fairly random market points that sometimes coincided with pivot points but mainly not.

Also, you initially mentioned the 9:50am-10:10 period as best for looking for trades but then later said 2:50pm-3:10pm as well…which of them do you usually use? Finally, what are your fav assets to trade this on?
2.50 - 3.10 is for the london session, 9.50 - 10.10 is the NY session, and 20.50 - 21.10 is for the asia session. You can trade any of these times depending on what suits your time zone and lifestyle. Someone can correct me if im wrong, but the 4pm NY close is when the NY opening gap starts, just another gap that has to be filled like the hong kong gap that starts at 14.59.
This is an ict concept. 4pm-9:30am in ny. The market is closed for Indicies(us500,naz) in America. The other trading you see is the world getting thier bids in during thier operating hours.(which the Americans don't usually trade) I utilise the hkg on forex during Asia and London sessions (because indicies don't move during those times) I explain all of this in most of my streams. Super interesting. But..... if you check the HK Gap for Tuesday (10.24) and today (Wed. 10.25.23) the gaps are at the top of the channel and at no time do the high and low pricing intersect the gap. So is a very flawed, inconsistent system in a trending market. May work great in a sideways or consolidating market.
interesting concept. Only problem I have is Hong kong closes 03.00 hours new york time not 15.00 hours. Not sure what youve been trading but it has nothing to do with Hong Kong hours and being based in Australia surely you should be aware your timing is 12 hours out?
Not gonna lie, it's kinda hard to understand, there's so much jumping from one time to another and one session to another, not sure which time or session is being traded since it's hidden behind bottom graphic.. Would be nice to have another video with maybe a checklist of what you are looking for in a trade, which gap you're trading (or both?) and maybe take just 2 or 3 trades but with more time on each trade. ICT has said hundreds of times the Algos will reprice to opening daily or weekly gaps in many markets. Kudos to all who find their edge in the market.

I would just like to see this guy walk the walk live rather than just talk the talk in hindsight.
@@murphysl4w ICT talks like there is a master algorithm that controls where the market moves. It's not an algorithm, it's just buyers vs sellers. When one runs out the market moves against them. High Frequency Trading isn't the market manipulator. If there was, someone would be making perfect trades 100% of the time because someone would have had to program the algorithm and I guarantee they wouldn't be content sitting on the sidelines if they could amass infinite wealth.
