    I work at a place where lithography is used to print circuits onto microchips. Cool stuff. I'm trying to learn more about it.

    I’m glad it don’t show her on the front but like many of you I agree with what you all have said!
    I have 3 different ways I’ve thought of it since I seen this earlier! An I’d appreciate everyone opinion! So bear with me! My first thought was did Lisa already choose this pic a cover out on her own an it’s was ready to go except for the book being finished!
    2) Did Lisa Marie tell an show Riley the pic an said this is what she wanted on the cover since she had the book almost done an even Lisa Marie told she had tapes of it she recorded while making it so she had all her thoughts,feelings, emotions ,notes so she didn’t forget things while doing it! Lisa said herself she go back listen to them an make changes make sure she had it the way she wanted an express what she meant and thought while writing it!
    3) Or did Riley since she finish it did she after all the years of being so close to her Mom knowing seeing what see did growing up the relationship between Lisa & Beaulieu did she do what her Mom wanted an her last wishes was for this book to tell her story for once (Lisa Marie)the truth an we all know Lisa Marie was more like Elvis but a lil more blunt an a firecracker at times not saying Elvis wasn’t!
    I loved how Lisa Marie did have balls she’d say how she felt most of the time and didn’t care what people thought were Elvis did hold back to press, fans the public in general at times! It was a different time an era! He had to but he was a gentleman an he watched what he said! Lisa Marie didn’t unless she had too!
    An I’m not saying nothing bad I love that about Lisa Marie she said what she thought a you could like it or not she didn’t care!
    So did Riley after listening to her Mom’s tapes an hearing her Mom’s voice her words with raw, blunt emotions,spilling her heart & guts out for once Saying what she wanted an reliving ever part she told about over again had to be hard on Lisa Marie telling it & hard on Riley since her Mom’s death hearing it & her voice,her Memories good an bad how Lisa Marie really felt about what all she went through all her life!
    I’m sure Riley heard things she never knew! So since it was after what all Beaulieu had already done to her an her Sister’s an everything else did Riley who was grieving & still is for her Mother & Brother do what Lisa Marie wanted after hearing all that leave it as Lisa Marie wanted an stick it too no good Granny or change things? Grief makes a difference & missing a parent you lost loved miss so bad never gets easier I know I live it!🥲Lisa Marie never got over losing her Daddy or Ben!
    Look what all her GrandMommy Dearest did all Lisa Marie life an so soon after Lisa death to them an still hasn’t stopped!
    Did all Lisa Marie’s words an truths make Riley do what was right leave it alone an finished it as Lisa wanted or did she change somethings!
    I guess we will have to wait and see huh?
    But this is all my own thoughts and opinions! An I don’t no what to think cause so much has happened it’s a toss up you never know what going to happen next when Beaulieu is involved! But I do know this fact she’s going to be the innocent lil victim again, An Lisa Marie is lying a just trying to hurt her an it’s all a lie cause she never done nothing bad! 😂
    Yeah Right Lying Witchilla! 😍👑❤️ Sorry everyone I wrote a book not a comment! Lol

    So I have a lithograph of an artist piece of work and some of his other lithographs are on auction for 1000-1500usd does this sound reasonable? Thank you

    • @mcm531
      @mcm531 2 года назад +1

      I know I’m a year late here but that is a very very vague comment - but even the name of the artist or work, much less any details on whether it’s signed or numbered, condition (fading, creasing, mold or insect specs, tears, marks, water damage), where you got it from, whether you have been able to find other numbered copies in same print edition, whether it was made and presumably signed while artist was alive and supervised the printing, or if it was a licensed print after death through the artists estate (typically noted by “(After)” in the name of a work or posting online. What type of paper is it on, do you know if there’s a reference guide to validate the general paper type and size and whether it would’ve been signed or not ( like Albert Fields guide on Dali which is what you’ll see referenced across Dali lithograph listings because this is really the only comprehensive listing of his prints and multiples and what sorts of details you would expect to find). And using Dali for example there are plenty of genuine signed/numbered lithographs of his you can get for a few hundred while others go in the thousands (the fields guid helps determine approximate how many are out there to gauge the level of rarity in the market which may be a factor in price differences). And keep in mind there are so many listings out there that aren’t going for anywhere near there fair value prices determined through a works history across the auction scene. Seeing the same print go for X amount (actually sold not just listed) In a decently reputable auction house sometime in the last few months or even couple of years is really THE best indicator you can have as far as determining what the “fair market value” is. Becuase if someone bought the same thing for $1000 and you have another edition in that same print run then you can reasonably assume you could get close to that as well if you were to list it. Also - if you see sold or hammer auction prices online, keep in mind that unless it explicitly tells you, it might already include the 10-25% buyers premium (typical with auctions), so the price you might be able to get may only be 85% or so of what you “see” online in auction sales. But if you can’t find other copies or any evidence of same prints being sold at auction, then it’s likely not worth very much or someone at some point in time would have sold one and you’d eventually track it down after enough googling. A lot of artists have listings of their works too so you can work through it that way if you can’t just search for a specific name or whatever.
      But yeah there’a so much that goes into it but just do your research and find sales online. But yeah bro your comment was vague af idk how anyone could answer that lolol

    Is offset Lithograph and Lithograph the same thing? Thanks.

    • @abebooks
      @abebooks  7 лет назад +2

      Hi Nina! The difference between offset lithography and lithography is an extra step between the ink being transferred from the plate (in modern offset lithography usually made of aluminum) to the paper. It's a way of mass producing a print without risk of damage to the original plate. Here is a video I found about offset lithography: ruclips.net/video/pNZb7CXUjs0/видео.html

    • @abebooks
      @abebooks  7 лет назад +5

      Hi @StrawHatGaming - A lithograph can be made with many different types of paper. The term lithograph refers to the process of putting the image on paper, not the type of paper used. Hope this helps!

      Do you mean is a lithograph a poster? Lithography is a type of printing, so could be used to make a poster, a card, a book cover or anything that is printable.
