What a lovely place to have access to. I am so envious. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and went to Liam's channel and subscribed to it as well. I noticed he seems to do a lot regarding fish which happens to be a favorite topic of mine. I haven't watched anything there as of yet but will right after sending you this. Well done Greg and Liam.
Hickling Broad - just down the road from me - as is the North Walsham and Dilham Canal - now in course of restoration - and Barton Broad with its Barton Boardwalk and observation platform. It was here I first heard the boom of a Bittern. Check these places out! Thank you for 'taking me out' I rarely do get out and all these places are down my Memory Lane due to anno domini common to all George V born Norfolk people (and anywhere else!)
Thanks for the recommendations, I'll add them to the list of places to go! I haven't done a proper wildlife walk video for a while, and I really should do more of them - they are some of my favourite things to do.
Thanks! I think I'll try to make a return visit this year too. This was a special video for me, as it was the start of my wildlife journey, so I'd like to go back and get an updated look around.
Well....when the video opened I thought that you two, relatively young, guys (no offence) in simple T shirt and jeans would never take such a in-depth approach to all manner of wildlife. You made even the more common species interesting. Great, great video. Thank you
The first hide you were in had a swallow nesting inside on the roof and the parents were flying in and out of the windows , feeding chicks last summer 2023 .
I did see a swallow nest in a hide I visited last summer, but off the top of my head I can't remember if it was at Hickling or another reserve. It was featured in a video, I just can't remember which one.

My brother really enjoys watching your videos keep up the good work!

Thanks! Yes, one of Liam's specialities is freshwater fish. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, we had a really good time making it.
Hickling Broad is well worth a visit. The Swallow tails and the variety of Dragon and Damsel flies as well as the birds are amazing .

Noice
Most underrated county in the country.
Despite living in Norfolk all my life, I'm still surprised by how diverse the wildlife is here.
@@GregsWildlife there's no where better in the uk. Norwich, broads, coast, what can you ask for
