To be fair, most of the time being unlucky or bad people around you is what makes one unhappy. That's why most would be happy or at least ok with that drastic change of residence, but that doesn't apply everytime. Dazai really hated being alive so that's why he wanted to end things. On top of that, he was separated from his lover, so no, not a good change for him.

Not prevent his stupid wife from being stolen from him know he long gave up on her when he originally died in the original plot and she did nothing but bring problems on him he wanted to assure he survives basically the main character quickly divorced the cheating wife worked on the guy's career then when the plot force her to interact with the very stupid airheaded ex-wife who was doing the usual even though I separated from the man dad I clean the love but I'm cheating on him I'm going to keep bothering him to pay attention to me and attract the attention of my crazy boyfriend who stole me from him who is quite willing to ruin and Destroy and even kill any man that he thinks his competition basically the point was to keep him from suffering the bad end from said evil CEO boyfriend and professional wife stealer but at the end of all these arcs the main character seeing how in her original World she was dying from cancer so she never had relationships and all that stuff starts to wonder about love in general like was she really missing out seeing how all these terrible people do terrible things to other people in the Name of Love there was even one where she had to help an heiress who was fat avoid a bad end. She was pursued by three men who wanted something that her father had left her each one giving her a bad end the moment they got their hands on it one of them being a Taoist so her bad end with that guy was worse he killed her then changed her spirit to him as his ghost wife and pretty much became the supernatural equivalent of a abusive husband he was the chief reason the main character was summoned in the first place to prevent him from getting her. And the one thing that Disturbed her about him was how when he was dying the man had the nerve to say that he would have loved her forever meaning despite the fact he acted aloof dark and spooky and creepy and all that s*** like he hated the heiress guts. He was a yandere for her you know the type that if they ever got you into a locked room they would beat you because they believe abuses love and they need you to be too scared to ever defy them SPOILERS FOR THIS ANIME YOUVE BEEN WARNED These examples are how I felt about the elf Village essentially since all of them care about getting with their loved one they cannot fathom that one of their own might not want to be married and then the hero that got summoned yeah she has a bad aversion to men because of her bad experience back home namely being bullied by the boys and her school because she was half Japanese and then once she reaches high school they change from bullying her to now viewing her as exotic and wanting to get into her panties which creeps her out and even worse her first and longtime friends since she was young has turned into all the other girls in class who hate her and call her a s*** because they hate how the boys are paying attention to her her friend turns on her when her friends new boyfriend attempts to rape her and when she fights him off and screams for help she comes in and believes the boyfriend that she tried to seduce him meaning all the rumors were true when she knows it's not she's just jealous that it's obvious the guy got together with her because even he admitted that he was using her to get to said Heroine and this was before she got isekai so the wound is still fresh and then she ends up in that stupid village where the men now Target her since she's a single woman and her trauma gets pressed again and then she attempts to take the women captive thinking that they are feeling the same way that the men are pigs and she needs to protect them but they didn't want to be separated from their men and they were just like her female classmates and her old friend except for the girl who took her in the other girl who was being harassed by the men. They hated her guts because they were jealous and while you get the idea found it funny at the end of that Arc she was the only one who wasn't sent back likely because what was there to send her back to unlike the other ones who look like they had a way to fix their lives or that one with a guy who ran away from his one friend when he was being bullied where was shown that he was forgiven when he returned it looked like her relationship with her friend was never going to recover felt like the girl only hung around her because she was the only person who was willing to talk to her and all that but once they got the high school she started to get jealous of her and then when she got her first boyfriend while you get the idea how teenagehood and the Love fog makes people stupid that instead of accepting the reality that the guy only approached her to get close to her friend instead she believes all the rumors that her friend was sleeping around and stealing other people's men because it was easier reality for her to believe there was no going back from that I decided to wait for updates around the time when we'll the Pope first directly appears to Danzai and the aftermath of that which I will not say because spoilers I'm already spoiling enough

Makes me think of an isekai where the main character (well thought out of course) gets transported to another world by some god’s whim. But all they want to do is return back home.
What's most interesting is how the MC is based on a real author who went by the pen name Osamu Dazai and really did keep failing at "perma-napping" just like the show character.

I'm honestly pretty behind on Konosuba. I'll mark it on my notes, so I'll stop forgetting 😂 Yeah, I just love the art form and find much better writing and actual character development as opposed to most shows coming from the west. I enjoy seeing the ridiculousness of this kind of anime just as much as diving deep intellectually into something like Death Note.
