French is not mandatory in order to get an ITA from the Express Entry (EE) pool. They have created separate categories and are calling them as Category Based Draw (CBD). Out of those various categories, French is included. But there are other categories as well like Healthcare, STEM, Agriculture, Transport etc.
For example, if you have work experience in a profession which falls under the Healthcare category, then you can join the EE pool and get an invitation in a Healthcare CBD "WITHOUT" French language skills.
Can you please remove this video full of false information. Francophone is one program its not mandatory.

My son has gone to CANADA for studies and he is telling me about the living conditions there ...everyhting so damn expensive , food living transport .. he has a french passport and he is not willing to stay there after his studies .. students from south asians they are suffering bcos of inflation . they have gone there just to get CANADIAN PASSPORT but that too now seems impossible to get.
Well inflation is now only 2%
Overall rents are stable for past year
Even house market for sale is good for both buyer & sellers alike
Since he is French citizen
Why not settle down in France?
Or even settle in Quebec as he will be fluent in French & that is much cheaper than other provinces

The real problem created in Canada with respect to housing crises, healthcare crises was because of unskilled and fake “asylum seekers” and illegal immigrants who come here on “visit visas” but end up converting it to work permits.
Canadian need more job for young Canadians.

@fahadhum No. Nothing of that sort. If you're coming on a PR that you've acquired through EE or PNP, you will get all the rights that a PR gets. However, getting a PR has become challenging with all the various categories which have been introduced since 2023.
Yes, therefore, don’t come to Canada. Go to your country of origin

Mate, French language is essential for ONE stream only, But not Mandatory for all Express Entry streams….. Please correct.

I fully support Canadian govt efforts to stop the storm of incoming useless students who end up doing odd jobs. Pure society ka band bajadiya hai gov nai. No housing cost of living super high air yeh log itne immigrant/non-immigrants ko bularahe hai. We long term citizens at the meantime are struggling and can’t even sponsor our parents. Acha iqdaam hai govt ka. Wausau chi koi pagal hoga jo Canada aysha. Yaha scope nahi hai. Limited population and limited resources. US jana zyada make sense karta hai.
This is false info, French is not mandatory for Express entry. French gives you extra points, also it enables an individual fir francophone category and that's it
