- We all found treasures at this AMAZING Goodwill and met a friend on the way out! Goodwill Huntington Beach was restocking.... look at all the treasures I found!
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Join me as I hit Goodwill Huntington Beach with Danni @TheNICHELady and my parents for a Sunday morning shop. The store was packed full of goodies and we found plently of treasure, and even some 50% off tags! Learn what to bolo for and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found a Talavera Mexican Pottery saucer, a gorgeous pottery vase, the biggest, heaviest Snowman and Santa chimineas I've EVER seen, a modern MCM mirror, a vintage display cabinet and an AMAZING uranium glass pedestal cake stand!!!! Watercolor artists love white ceramic deviled egg dishes for palettes...most creamic palettes are quite expensive. Much better than plastic!!

Absolutely author court is the best beautiful piece that I've ever seen. I have a pitcher I bought several years ago for $20 and I find that the price has increased substantially

I just found you and I'm glad because your style of video is great because you're very relaxed and therapeutic in the way you talk through your stores. Usually everybody's so wound up about things they think they have to fill all the space with yakking so that there isn't any dead space and it's just annoying. Or they have background music or there's always something that's distracting but you are just so pleasant and laid back and again you don't go overboard talking and that's amazing especially with the length of your videos. So thank you for that and I'm glad I found you and I subscribed as well.

I'm mind blown how much these are valued at. I can't imagine paying those prices, but I shop at goodwill for much of my home decor. Fortunately, most people love my home decor.

That is Dia De Los Muertos Full Skull. Many Hispanic and Mexican celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. A ceramic skull will run about $30.00 thru $199.00 depending if handpainted ( which some are). You will get more if sold September thru couple of days prior to this date of Dia De Los Muertos on November 2nd I believe.
The one that you ffg found is a very sought out color with the black and large flower, etc...
Wayfair had the less graphic not as colorful for $47.99. The one you have appears handpainted, yet worth more right before the day.

That Haviland Limoges covered vegetable/serving dish was so beautiful. It is a shame those covered serving dishes don't seem to sell anymore. I have tried selling Meakin, Limoges, Johnson Bros. covered serving dishes and have practically had to give them away in the end.
So true unfortunately. I have a Homer Laughlin covered serving dish and platter I can’t give away. 😳
I used covered dishes when I have company to keep food warm on the table. Guess I’m old fashioned lol

Me, too! But I grew up with my mom using them, so I think that’s part of it. And I’ve got ones that have been passed down - my grandmother seemed to be the one everyone left things to and then my mother ended up over the years with those and started passing them on to me when I got married so I used them from the start. Now I’ve passed some on and my daughter is using them!

My depression glass book from 2013 says the green cake plate is called Peacock and Wild Rose by Paden City Glass Co. 1930's
Book value in 2013 is $195. Says nothing about irredecent glass

I love the blue glass piece and of course the uranium glass. Truthfully my favourite was the the Halloween Skeleton candy bowl stand. I am all in on Halloween as we were married around Halloween and had a Hallow Wedding reception. Lol

Wow! That Uranium peacock glass piece is STUNNING! What an incredible find!! Also, I buy single candle holders all of the time, I prefer them over matchy- matchy... For what it is worth:) Edit-I just bought some picture/pottery holders in the black iron & was surprised at how much they were- like $15 each, so $2 each is a great buy, especially for the black iron one:) You ladies are a lot of fun- wish I had a friendship like yours:)
Love this! Two days ago I accidentally found a Tiffany & Co clear glass/crystal pitcher at my local Goodwill. Purchased for $2.50 and see them going online for $250-300! I was looking for vases and pitchers for a little diy upcycle project I’m doing and noticed the pitcher felt a bit heavier and well made than all of the others. Anyhow…love love love when I find a great treasure when I least expect it! Thanks for sharing your shopping adventures😁

You found some really nice treasures. Loved the Meakin covered serving bowl (loved the Haviland one you felt you had to leave behind, too!). And of course the green uranium glass cake plate is fabulous - the big find of this haul! And the blue of that Viking glass is spectacular. I loved the Pier One chip n dip and I’m always attracted to the MaxCera pieces. Then there are the pieces for your house - the sign is sweet and that bowl with skeleton legs is so fun!!!
I wondered what happened to the candlesticks? You still had them in the cart at the end. I hope you didn’t put them back - I was shouting at you across the time warp, trying to remind you that it looked like they had orange stickers so were half price!!

I went to one in Pharump and found some really cool stuff.
A good friend of my husband & me use to live in Pharump! That's in California, right? Oh wait, it's in Nevada. IDK what I was thinking! LOL 😂 I also designed a shirt for the sheriff's dept in San Dimas, next to Mount San Antonio College, CA. They had a contest for the Art Dept students at the college. Anyways, they wanted us to design a logo for a run they have every year. It was a run from Pharump to, I think Las Vegas. It could have been to another city but I recognized Pharump because my friend lived there. To my surprise, I won the contest! I never heard of the place before but suddenly I couldn't get away from the name. LOL Then another good friend of mine some years later moved there. It's not a big place so to start hearing about it through 3 different people or ways, I just thought was crazy. Well that's my little story. It might not be interesting to you but it is to me. Is it still a small city?

Lanita my kids live in Vegas so sometimes when we go and are bored we go to another town close by. My son and I wondered what was there, such a funny name. They do have a nice winery and Goodwill.
Tiffany, that Skelton reminds me of my deceased best fried, who was SO INTO Any holiday. For Halloween, she had us all over for hot cider, and doughnuts. She had a huge cauldron on the porch with hot ice in it, and candy for all the kids trick or treat. It was a smashing success. That Skelton would be perfect for a spooky treat. What a find!
