I filmed this back in April and since then I haven’t bothered to upload it. I’ve been wanting to do this route for a very long time because my old one was very bad. This route is also going to be part of the Woodford Bus Changes when it will replace the 549 between South Woodford and Loughton and the PVR will go from 11 to 2. TfL are basically killing this route anyways, I was so happy I got an DML because I didn’t want a YX12 or a YY64/YX65. This route is supposed to get electrics as well with W12/W13 in September.

On 12 February 2019, an Enviro 200 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E20D demonstrator was introduced alongside the existing 10.8m Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts.
In March 2019, the Enviro 200 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E20D demonstrator was withdrawn.
On 24 June 2022, the route was included in the sale of Tower Transit's Lea Interchange (LI) Garage to Stagecoach London.
The route will be restructured to operate between Whipps Cross Hospital and Loughton replacing routes 549 and W12 from 7 September 2024. At the same time, the route will be retained by Stagecoach London using brand new electric single deckers and the PVR will decrease from 10 to 2.
Weather wasn’t good on the day I filmed this but oh well.
