This recap is great and I love the story. I'm stuck on 29:08 since I counted seven scars and she's regressed "seven" times, so did he also regress but in a way that he only relived her seventh life thus giving him those scars. Naturally, I could be completely wrong but that's my best guess and whether he's aware and remembers her is another matter all together.
Interestingly enough, her reasoning on creating customers by giving those people a job is the same proposal as Abraham Lincoln when it came to ending slavery. In order to make the economy work and continue the cash flow throughout the country, you make the slaves into workers who become consumers in return. This is a brilliant proposal and one of the many ways to bring forth prosperity within a country. Something else interesting the anime does touch up on is if the minimum wage is increased, there tends to be a rise in job scarcity as well as employers limiting the amount of employees they hire or even increasing the workload per employee. It’s a double edged sword. It’s quite fascinating how many realistic economic related situations they bring forth in this anime as well as solutions that actually work. Edit: The concepts themselves aren’t difficult to understand, but something that’s widely misinterpreted constantly by people.
This is a really great analysis. And true, these things are often misunderstood. Where I live, minimum wage is quite high and continues to rise. We suffer the draw backs of an increase cost of living that kind of negates the price increase😅 But, I didn't know Lincoln was the one who proposed giving jobs to slaves to increase economic flow. That is so awesome
