I noticed this when I compared one of my own AMVs and realized that despite using similar scenes, the coloring/shading was different. Can I ask why you decide to do this? I am interested as to why you do not simply leave the clips as they normally were. Again, a very brilliant AMV. I am excited to see what else you have in store for the future.

Secondly, to answer your question, I tend to amp up the saturation, as well as add overlays to my videos, because I think it makes it look better. RWBY has great animation, but a little extra boost to the colors never goes amiss. Hope this answers your question!

There is this band I really like, Orden Ogan, but I can´t find any amv´s with their songs. Well, there is this one music video to their song Too Soon, but that´s about it. I mean, I would make one myself, but I´m far from your level of skill(et) :) ok, jokes aside, there really has to be a RWBY amv with a song by Orden Ogan. Maybe one with the song The Things We Believe In, because it matches the epicness of RWBY songs, while also having a kind of sad meaning when reading the lyrics, like the actual RWBY songs. Then again, maybe a tribute for Penny and Pyrrha with the song Too Soon... But there are so many other songs to choose from, too. I´ll just listen to all of them and when I think I got one, I´ll think about it a little. Or maybe I´ll forget about it in a few minutes and in half a year or so someone replies to this comment, remindingme of my plans and then I start making amv´s.
This video always gives me goosebumps, not only is the song amazing but how perfectly the lyrics fit with each clip, it was so precisely made. By far one of the best AMV's I've ever watched

It's not really weird, she says they can take her breath, and her heart, when they pry it from her cold dead chest, her chest is where the heart and the lungs are, and lungs hold the breath, it'd be weird if it said hands instead of chest.

Also, here are some suggestions: Orden Ogan - Too Soon Cryoshell - Gravity Hurts Van Canto - well, just pick one yourself. They mostly cover stuff from other bands, and since I don´t know that many of the more known bands, I can´t tell which of their songs are covers ad which aren´t. The covers sound good, though. Only A Capella Heavy Metal band I know, and it sounds as awesome as a show about snow white kicking some Dark Souls boss´ ass. :)

Personally find the saturation to make the colors more prominent and I love it. Gives a very crisp and good feeling.
