If you scroll back up and SMASH the like button and then hit command + W (control + W on Windows) it will actually make it glow green. Weird easier egg I know.

Fun fact cmd w is the only app/window/tab closing shortcut that works on iPad. So I can now close my RUclips Application.

⌘⌥V moves a file if you have copied it somewhere, it is the Mac equivalent for when you want to ⌘X or cut to paste it somewhere, but for some God forsaken reason the Mac engineers thought that having that default for files made too much sense...

Command X is a perfect microscopic utility app, that does the job for you if you want. I love apps that do exactly one thing but do it S Tier
Great stuff! Here are some more tips with Command-Tab.
While you command-Tab, to act on the selected app, you can press Q to quit, H to hide, and up arrow to view the windows and ~ to go backwards.
But most cool is that you can start dragging a file, and command-Tab to the app you want to drag it into. Use for dragging stuff into mail windows.

After cmd+L on your browser to get to the address bar, type the URL and hit option+return to open it on a brand new tab 🙃

41:24 i mostly use CMD+1, 2, 3, 4 for tabs in chrome. command 1 goes to tab 1, etc etc. command 9 goes to last tab (even if more than 9)

Hey bog, kinda dug myself a whole with all the shortcuts - Not the ones Mac OS uses by default, but with literally hundred toggle this and toggle that options in all those fancy menu bar apps you collect over time while trying to fix a problem while creating two more problems. And the worst thing about it is, I still kinda enjoy spending 3 Hours to try to understand which of my 10 Castle overpowered automation apps that I dont have a clue of makes the system Crash when running a simple ctrl + -> . Maybe you could one day talk about workflows that you tried to implement but stopped to do some real work instead. For me, its trying to collect all global and all application shortcuts. Its just so frustrating and after 2 weeks i dont know why I even started this in the First Place 😂 cheers!

Can you make it for windows
I've got to say I struggle with MacOS's keyboard shortcuts. Over on Linux, it's fairly simple - the Win/Super key does stuff for the desktop environment, Ctrl and Alt do stuff in applications. But then you go over to MacOS and suddenly it's the Cmd key for most things... and it's immediately in a much less pleasant place, being where I need to use my thumb to press it, rather than my pinky. Then Ctrl+Left/Right is used to move between desktops, okay, so we've reversed Cmd and Ctrl, but wait, Ctrl still has its traditional use in many Linux ported applications and in iTerm2. Now things are just confusing and all over the place. And terminal programs don't always recognise Option as Alt.

What is the name of the application that allows you to expand menu bar icons like a tray on Windows? I tried Bartender and I don't really like it, but it looks like you have a different application
I think that's bartender in the video. You could try something an app called Vanilla. It's free.
@@bogxd Thanks for answer. It seems that Vanilla collapses icons at the bar menu level and they still can stay behind Notch. I wanted the application icons to roll out under the menu bar, so that the notch would not block them. I googled, there is an free application called iBar and it can provide same functional as Bartender. It would be nice if Apple finally added this to the system without third party software

You should tinker with Karabiner Elements, Hyper on Caps lock is sweet. Especially when combined with Raycast. Also Command on Enter when Enter is held and Enter when Enter is tapped.
If I ever get a mac I am certainly referring back to this video. I love the idea of using keyboard shortcuts to make my use of computers quicker.
I hope Bog makes a video ranking keyboard shortcuts on windows too! I can't find a good quality video anywhere where they list all the keyboard shortcuts and what they do.

When I minimize a window in macOS, I usually don’t want it to show up when using command-tab. I use it rarely, and only to put something away that I would only need much later.

When you turn it on you can see the menu at the bottom right corner of the home screen. You can select the background option and choose a custom wallpaper for your home screen.

also in the screenshot shortcur (16:50), you don't need to keep holding cmd+shift+4 all the time. you can do cmd+shift+4, release, then space, release then hold control and click to copy the application screenshot.

At 3:22 regarding the RUclips volume slider.. bro it always only uses the up and down arrows, unless you selected it right before with your mouse and changed it, then you will notice that element is in a blue box, which only then will allow you to change it with the left-right arrows. So if you just don't click around with your mouse there, left-right arrows are always for skipping back and forward and up-down arrows are for volume change.
Why is there an additional big close button on his windows whenever he hits the command key?
1st mistake is switching from windows to macos…
