    12:15 straight-up evil scientist laugh, and I’m all for it. Love this bench, didn’t occur to me how useful the sides are when folded down as clamping surfaces for vertical pieces. So smart!

    Wow when you finished the workbench my initial thought was "Nice, looks like a sturdy, simple, effective workbench without too many bells and whistles", and after you explained how to use it I understood that it wasn't missing features, it just accomplished the same things even more simply

But first I need those new bookshelves my wife asked for, and that cutting board my wife asked for, and to redo the deck like my wife asked me to, and a new bed for my son that he asked my wife for and she asked me. Hhmmmm.... I'm sensing a trend here. I need to figure out how to get her to ask me for a new workbench

    That is brilliant design, I am going to steal that idea of support for the extensions with casters. I really love how support leg and itäs frame is placed between the table legs, so when closed it it does not protrude out of the table frame.

    Fisher, I just want to say I love your videos. Most of all, you haven't gone to the dark side of tool reviewing and tool pushing. I have started letting some of my other channels go because that has become their main focus. It's sad. Please keep making videos about actually woodworking. I learn something new from most of them and I love your humor. Thanks.

    Drew, builds like this is exactly why I keep coming back to your channel. Not only are you fun to watch, but your builds are also well thought out, designed to do the job they are meant for while still looking nice and buildable by others with only a limited amount of shop tools.

    The one time a flat head screw saves the day! It looks beautiful! I love how your home must be filling up with beautiful furniture and accessories. My dad made a lot of our furniture and it added a special feel to our family home, I'm glad your family get the same experience.

    @9:00 I recognize this laugh as the standard "damn I'm good" chuckle we all make when we are pleased with ourselves. For me, it usually comes a couple hours before loudly berating myself with foul language after I realize I got overconfident, went to fast, and screwed something up.
    And I have to echo what others have said. This is a gorgeous bench with some very thoughtful functionality. If your goal was with this video was to inspire, mission accomplished.

    Many say this I'm sure...but the outtakes are always one of my favorite parts! Yes yes watching you make mistakes is humorous but the real reason is it validates I'm not the only one!!!! Everytime I almost pee my pants laughing so hard knowing have either have done that or know exactly how it feels!!! Thanks for showing great projects and how human you are!     What an awesome and versatile bench! I think I'm going to make one to replace my current outfeed/assembly table. I'll do it using material and similar build materials as my Cosman workbench with a layered MDF top and Baltic birch base.
