In the FL sun you need more than 30 SPF! You’ll still get a tan later, it will protect against the bad rays.
I think it was just the first day exposure maybe? I’ve been fine with 30 spf since that first day! 🙌🏻

When you’re pregnant, your skin is way more sensitive to the sun, and it’s wayyy easier to get malasma. I very much learned the hard way
Respectfully- Mine wasn’t at all, during any of my pregnancies. Not everyone’s skin is the same though. I do not have sensitive skin ever. Which I’ve always been grateful for. Maybe she’s the same way.
@@corinnelsmithI do remember her getting sunburnt last spring/summer as well. I’d almost assume that her skin will be more sensitive during pregnancy. I’m fair skin (dirty/strawberry blonde) and I’m sensitive all the time, was even more sensitive during my pregnancies.
Higher spf definitely and all decent sunscreen is pregnancy safe. I understand the anxiety believe me but there are very few things for your skin that needs to be changed during pregnancy.
Right! I have never heard of changing sunscreen during pregnancy but I learn something new everyday!

YES! The change in color to produce a tan is permanent skin damage. There is no safe tan.

Also for those saying 50 SPF, here in FL even that isn’t enough and constant reapplication is necessary like every other hour. Living here all my life, I still manage to get burnt even with reapplication and a higher SPF. The sun is brutal here.

SPF 70 on body SPF 100 on face. Wear a hat and long sleeve after the first couple hours. Not worth skin cancer, skin damage, or the wrinkles.

Dr. Dray (dermatologist on RUclips) said never use spray spf you never get a complete coverage. Get the rub on so he can get complete coverage. I live on the west coast so I know spf.

Little tip for those of us who burn. I wear a bathing suit with long sleeves during the r day and after 3 I wear a normal bathing suit. So worth it. Also another tip. If you get sun burnt, use shaving cream. Amazing

I was just there March 4 to the 11! I wish I would have seen you! Take the water taxi down to Margritaville! Great entertainment at Hollywood Beach theater. My granddaughter who is about your age works for the water taxi in the office!😊❤ so proud of her I had to add that

I’m very fair skinned but spray sunscreen does not work for me. Always get sunburned . I always use the sun lotion instead 👍🏼

I love seeing your vlogs pop up!❤ With the sunscreen, in my experience the rub in sunscreen is better to help with the strong sun. I use the spray on the top of the feet, shoulders and chest in between reapplying the lotion.

This might have been said, but during pregnancy I was told by the ob that you tend to burn easier. I got 2 sunburns that were not very bad at all but they ITCHED so much so I had to apply aloe and lotion a lot while they faded it took longer than usual, too 🙃 so I wish you good luck!! Hopefully it will heal quickly

I got SO sunburned when I was pregnant! Even with sunscreen and reapplying. My legs got so burned and they never burn! I swear it’s something with being pregnant maybe all the extra blood? Who knows but I feel you!!!!

Heads up, the only sunscreen I find works for me and my sensitive skin is the Hawaiian Topic 50SPF+. Have you thought of upping the SPF protection?

The wind on the beach made me chuckle. I live in Cornwall in the UK, and on a sunny but windy/chilly day, us locals are there in jeans and sweatshirts, sometimes sat in the car or coffee shop, away from the sand blowing in your face, enjoying a coffee. The tourists are in their bikinis on the beach DETERMINED to be there, with their windbreaks and their little tents. I’m fully supportive. You pay for your holiday, you want to sit on the beach!! 😂
