If anyone is wondering about DC speculation, All-star Superman 1 - 12 is selling on Ebay right now at double it's original value for a complete set. It was going for 20 to 30 for a complete set, now it's selling for 50 to 70. It could go higher up, if you want to jump on the band wagon now or wait 6 months and see what they are going to be then.

Not sure if they are good spec-wise, but I like Jimmy Olsen #29 (1st Krypto and Superman), Superman #130 (1st Krypto in Superman title, and a story that can also be read as their '1st' meeting since the Superboy days, possibly because the continuity changed to the official 'Silver Age' Superman), and Action Comics 266 (1st cover with Krypto, Streaky, Superman and Supergirl all together). Sadly they are more expensive than All-Star Superman.

One comic book seller claimed deadpool became as popular as he is now due to his appearance in Marvel Alliance way back when it came out. Everyone was out grabbing his comic books the day after the game release, then of course Ryan Reynolds made it what it is now but supposedly no one knew or really cared about deadpool until the Marvel Alliance game release. Not sure how true this is but the comic book seller seemed to remember this and people all of the sudden wanting the back issues for the character.
What to do?… slow down, pump the breaks and quit listen to every single channel that tells u to buy this or that book based on an upcoming hit or miss movie/show.
Would’ve been nice to have snagged West Coast Avengers 7 before all this spec. Could’ve made a pretty penny. I could sell my copy of It’s Jeff #1 for at least $20.
I've had a Captain America #180 since the early 80's. To see this book at #1 is shocking. I haven't looked at it since the last time I re bagged the entire Cap run. Just crazy with the Cap spec right now.

I've been keeping an eye out on West Coast Avengers since the first Jeff infinity comic, I just never found it in the wild. Since Rivals came out, it's no longer an active hunt for me. I'll see it back at the $35 raw.

Kraven was a 6 for me. I am currently at the end of Iron fist season 1. (Trying to catch up before DD) My current complaint is origin stories taking too long and not enough focus on the main character. Kraven, first 8 mins great engagement. Then we hit these boring parts where sometimes we get a foreshadow or plot point. Iron fist, drawn out origin story with only hints of his power. Why tease the audience when majority know the origin stories and powers? I hope we have the MCU unleashed with the coming titles...

About the Sam Wilson Cap spec, no one liked that period in Marvel. People aren’t fans of the ANAD/Legacy era of Marvel so why would we want to buy it? Especially since we don’t have any idea what the actual story is for this movie yet and it’s had like 4 trailers already
