I wish this game got a western release, bonus points if they updated the music to have iconic that 16-bit Konami sound. Gradius Rebirth on the Wii was a prequel, taking place 2 years before this and ending on a "To be continued" which got my hopes up that we would get a remake or port. I've only ever played the MSX version of this. I tried emulating this ages ago but could never figure out the emulator as it was all in Japanese.

@@GunMeister22 use XM6 typeG, its way better than XM6 and its an improvement over that.
this is the easy mode, with no bullets from most enemies.

なんでシールドしないのかな。
シールド取ると異常にランクが上がるゲームだから。
難易度が上がって打ち返し弾も来るようになるから
なるべくシールドは取らない方がいい
デメリット無いはずのナパーム取らないのもそれが理由か。
しかし、MSX版にあったエクステンドレーザーやリフレックスリングは無いのな
