I posted this on Kwadwo Sheldons chhannel but it's very relevant so... I have come to realise that our so called Ghanaian fans and even many of the so called sports journalists either don't really know football or they are just too emotional or worst of all they are just fans of individuals over the Black Stars. I remember after the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua our too known fans were on he attack blasting Baba Rahman even though watching the game 3 times he was clearly one of our best players on the pitch that game. The same game the were praising Baba Idrissu who sucked completely and was easily the worst player in both the Bra and Nic games. it was only after they saw Samed play that they started saying Idrissu wasn't good enough. I say that to say the same thing happened yesterday Baba messed up badly with the pass that led to the second Portugal goal. But it was the same Baba who got the assist that led to our 2nd goal no one probably even noticed because they just don't like the individual. I can see the same issue with Otto Ado. Right now people are just so fixated on Chris Hutton because he was coach in the EPL. (Yes I think he's a good coach) But thats not the point. Had he taken the job immediately and not gotten results the same useless/clueless BS fans would be insulting him and asking for someone else. For me this is the best scenario because he gets to be involved in the building of the new team without having to take responsibility of our losses. For me perspective is always important. 1. We almost didn't even qualify for this tournament and wen we got past the first stage the same robbery we are crying about South Africans felt the same so let's just get over it. The game is over and any serious football fan knows every world cup expect bias against African teams. 2. We lost to Comorros at the AFCOn this year! Yes we were that bad. At least now we are seeing a team being built. 3. Otto Addo supposedly already said he would not stay after the tournament. So either back hm or stop watching the BS under him because whining won't change it. I really am no in any way shape or form disheartened by the loss. I know if the boys really are up for it they can beat both Korea and Uruguay.
