  • Poly Baldwin lights a top down fire on a Netherton Foundry giant fire table in preparation to cooking on a Chapa. This method of fire lighting is recommended and taught by Genevieve Taylor at the Bristol Fire school.
The chapa is an open fire /charcoal fuelled portable barbecue inspired by the Argentinian Gauchos. Two semi circular chapas that pair together to make an enormous 24 inch (60cm) diameter outdoor cooking surface. One solid griddle plate for eggs, pancakes and all those small, tasty morsels that fall through the on to the charcoal. One barbecue grid for the delicious chargrilled taste we all love. This version also comes with a simple, split fire table designed to protect the ground or lawn from the effects of direct contact with fire.
