- ‘Give To Our God Immortal Praise’, arr. Lyle Stutzman. Commissioned in celebration of the tenth anniversary of SCMC (2006-2015). Sung at the 10th Annual Choral Festival 2015 of Shenandoah Christian Music Camp (VA). Conducted by Wendell Nisly. See the sheet music at blueskymusic.n...
1. Give to our God immortal praise;
mercy and truth are all his ways:
wonders of grace to God belong,
repeat his mercies in your song.
2. Give to the Lord of lords renown,
the King of kings with glory crown:
his mercies ever shall endure,
when lords and kings are known no more.
3. He built the earth, he spread the sky,
and fixed the starry lights on high:
wonders of grace to God belong,
repeat his mercies in your song.
4. He fills the sun with morning light;
he bids the moon direct the night:
his mercies ever shall endure,
when suns and moons shall shine no more.
5. He sent His Son with power to save
from guilt, and darkness, and the grave
wonders of grace to God belong,
repeat his mercies in your song.
Beautiful singing, crystal voices, Heavenly! Thanks. ❤🎉❤
What a blessing to my soul! Thank you, Lord!
The Mennonites are such glorious singers! Thank you for sharing God's praises with us.
No piano or gitar, just pure beautiful voices!!!! Praise Lord!!!!
Simply MAGNIFICENT RENDITION! Thanks. ❤🎉❤
Beautiful. Simply glorious and beautiful
There's gonna be some great voices singing with the Angels very soon. Wonderful.
How beautiful! Great harmony! God bless these young people may they sing only for YOUR glory.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (February 7, The Transfiguration of Our Lord), we sang this as our Opening Hymn. Ditto for me as I filled in at a local Lutheran Church. However, we sang it to the tune, DUKE STREET, attributed to John Hatton. It is #848 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.
Such beautiful harmony..it sounds heavenly..
I have goosebumps this is amazing.
GLORY be to the Most HIGH
I love this group, this is my kind of singing. God bless.
What a wonderful choir and a wonderful conductor. God bless.
I could listen to this all day. It is definitely annointed. 😊
Great performance, nice voices, it reminds me to 45 years ago when I was told my voice was changing because I got a adult voice which was lower then I actually wanted ( that mix was terrible, voice changing...)...now my voice is lower, much lower but still beautiful thanks to God, He gave it to me, and to you all.
God bless you.
Greetings from Holland
Oh...you have no idea how some of these men would love a very low voice. Like you said, your voice is beautiful and can probably "go places" most people cant, which is unique and valuable!
Basses are always welcome
Praise the Lord! 🙏🏻🙌🏻 That was beautiful!
We lover all your fantastic music, thanks for sharing.
What beautiful singing to God Who is Himself beautiful. "Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours" (Psalm 110:3 ESV).
I love hearing this beautiful music and tune in every Sunday morning to prepare my heart for another Sabbath and the week ahead. Thank you for singing praises to God. This is most uplifting to me.
More and much blessings attend you all in Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for this beautiful singing. Surely it lifts our hearts heavenwards.
+David Norris You're very welcome, David! And thank-you for your encouragement.
+SCMC - Music Camp So few congregations seem to be able to sing four-part harmony these days, not to mention a capella. This was not the case fifty years ago when we were exposed to it in Chapel from a young age. God bless you
David Norris
Is there a difference in four part and a capella?
@@imjustoutforastroll5091 A capella simply means unaccompanied. Four-part typically refers to Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass.
Beautiful. One of my favourite x!
Love the purity of this singing.
Wow! A very beautiful song!
A very beautiful song done well. God bless
Absolutely beautiful. God bless you for singing his praise. Many thanks!
Thanks for your encouragement James!
Lovely voices, inspirational!
Heavenly Music.
Why have churches abandoned this music for the trash they now permit?
AMEN!!!
My wife is a new Christian and she has a phobia of modern Christian music 😂
@@byhisstripes2713 Good for her!
Listen to Handel's "Messiah" for a real taste of heaven! 😇
Same question brother, same question. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, Name above ALL names
To God be all glory!
All GLORY TO GOD!!!
Subbed... so I can put all your work on continuous play while I'm working around the house..... Just amazing. I'd put you up against the Mormon choir any day.
And this choir is from all over the USA, even different countries and they have come and sung together for only 1 week and every year the group of people are different.
But singing is part of our heritage, it's something you learn from very little on up!
I'm glad you enjoy it and that you find joy and peace through it.
BEAUTIFUL HARMONY SONG GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Singing of the angels!
Beautiful.
Deus abençoe aos amados irmãos. Um dia cantaremos juntos.... e para sempre, no Reino de Nosso Senhor.
Love this song
Praise The Lord. Amin
"Like", "Like", "Like", "Like", "Like"............
This is beautiful! Wonderful voices
Amazing
We sang this at school
Que lindo!!! Gloria a Deus.
I love you guys😍😍😍
Wonderful!!
How can you not applauded that sound. That comes from a none believe.
This is a wonderful arrangement of a tune that we call "Warrington" in England. Sometimes the name changes part way across the Atlantic for some inexplicable reason. I would be interested to know if it has the same name in the USA.
+john hopkinson John, it does appear to be the same tune. We tend to name and refer to hymns using names from the lyrics instead of from the tune. Perhaps an injustice to the fine tune! But we mean no harm, and hope you enjoyed the piece all the same.
Himnos muy bellos y muy buena armonía todo para la gran GLORIA DE DIOS
Dit is wat god van ons vraagd
great but I do feel a organ or brass entering in the last verse would cap it off
Do you have cds available
Nice rendition. Is it possible to get the piece of this music?
If you would like the sheet music, there is a link in the description.

words please.
j'ai traduit du mieux possible :
1. Give to our God immortal praise ;
Rendez à Dieu des louanges immortelles ;
mercy and truth are all his ways :
la miséricorde et la vérité sont toutes ses voies :
wonders of grace to God belong,
les merveilleuses grâces à Dieu appartiennent
repeat his mercies in your song.
répète ses miséricordes dans ton chant
2. Give to the Lord of lords renown,
Donnez au Seigneur des Seigneurs sa renommée,
the King of kings with glory crown :
Le Roi des rois avec couronne de gloire :
his mercies ever shall endure,
Ses miséricordes dureront toujours .
when lords and kings are known no more.
Même quand les seigneurs et les rois ne seront plus connus .
3. He built the earth, he spread the sky,
Il a construit la terre et étendu le ciel,
and fixed the starry lights on high :
Il a fixé les lumières étoilées en haut :
wonders of grace to God belong,
les merveilleuses grâces à Dieu appartiennent,
repeat his mercies in your song.
répète ses miséricordes dans ton chant .
4. He fills the sun with morning light ;
Il remplit le soleil avec la lumière du matin ;
he bids the moon direct the night :
Il ordonne à la lune de diriger la nuit :
his mercies ever shall endure,
ses miséricordes subsisteront à jamais,
when suns and moons shall shine no more.
Même quand soleils et lunes ne brilleront plus .
5. He sent His Son with power to save
Il envoya son Fils avec le pouvoir de te sauver
from guilt, and darkness, and the grave
de la culpabilité, des ténèbres et de la tombe
wonders of grace to God belong,
les merveilleuses grâces à Dieu appartiennent ,
repeat his mercies in your song.
répète ses miséricordes dans ton chant
Tres tres bien
Anyone know the name of the tune?
Beautiful music. I'm not very familiar with the Mennonites. Why aren't all of the women and girls wearing bonnets?
It is a prayer veiling that most groups will adorn ( as a general rule) when the young ladies come to the age of accountability... that age will vary from group to group.

so sad, no smiles , no body movement anywhere. stoicism reignes in the presence of the LOrd. bet they can't wait till this is over and they can go home for some excietement.
Not a black face to be seen
