    Mom use to put 3/4 pork skins every Sunday.. I still put in my gravy . Your skins looked great. I enjoy even more a day later when flavor is infused.Great to see you bring all the old time favorites to life. You make food enjoyable

    Gramps, who had a butcher shop, came from Italy. I loved Sunday gravy at his house because it always included pig skin braciola, my favorite. Unfortunately, I have been unable to buy any pig skin locally or I'd surely make some. I may have to buy some pork belly and cut off the skin. You have re-ignited my craving.

    I’m glad y’all went back into the kitchen like in your older videos. The newer videos where you’re in the dining room/ kitchenette doesn’t have the same homey feel to it like your older videos do. I’ll still watch them no matter where y’all decide to record but I like the older version more. With y’all in the kitchen in front of the stove. Send lots of love and I definitely want to try this recipe. I know my father in law will love it for sure.

    My mom cooked this when I was a kid. She used her meatball mix to fill the pork skin. Rolled, tied and fried it with her other meats before adding it to her sugu. That’s what my Sicilian family called it.

    My Italian Father showed me how to make this as a kid it awesome. He also thought me how to make pigs knuckles in the gravy !!!! Looks Awesome guys thanks!!! Maybe you can do a show on pigs knuckles????

    My mom started her gravy early on Sunday mornings. I would wake up to meatballs frying and in another pan frying bracioles and sausages.
    She also made delicious pork
    roasts too, baked frozen artichoke hearts oreganata. Omg. Delicious.

    When I make Sunday Gravy this is a must . The flavor of the pork skin gives the Sauce a very very taste . My Family makes it the same . Lots of cheese, parsley salt pepper and lots of garlic chopped fine . It does melt in your mouth if cooked properly. Thank you for posting your Mom’s recipe. This is old school but yes very authentic Neapolitan gravy ! 😊

    I've been makin' beef and pork braciole for years, but this is a new one on me. Gonna try it as soon as I can find a local butcher where I can get the pork skins, might have to go back into Bensonhurst for it, which would be fine. Thanks for a new and exciting take with an old school recipe.

      Not sure where you live . In New York can get in Italian deli and some supermarket. Latinos also use so you can get in ethnic market or supermarket. Or you can ask for at meat dept.
      It really is terrific
