I was just doing barbell calf raises and I didn’t really feel much, now I’ve been doing these for 3 sets of 20 reps and they burn so much by the end

Do double under jump rope between calf sets. It's made a difference for a small frame guy who inherited some pathetic calf meat. Also, loaded carries on tip toes.
Double link the belt to make it tight
@Will Allison... Great tip for preventing whatever weight source you use from swinging erratically. Very useful suggestion.👍
I don’t have the belt How else can I do this? I’ve fractured both my feet and I still have some pain help!
I dont have this equipment either so I place a few weight plates in a backpack and do the exercise that way. I hope this helps.

A sane man would never do calf raises in those shoes
