wicked max wedge, from a time when Chrysler scared the shit outta everyone
The years are going by fast. Good to enjoy these moments when you can. Won't be long and they will be gone forever. Enjoy everyday like it's your last.
Jed I just saw your post about your grandmother, I just wanna say I'm very sorry for your loss and my condolences go out to you and your family. I understand if you take a break from filming for a bit but even with "low" view counts I don't think you realise how much all of us that watch your videos enjoy them and how much we take away and use on our own projects. I can honestly say I've used some of your and your dad's tips and tricks working on my car so I just wanna say thankyou, and we love ya man! Keep on keepin on 🤘
Thanks for capturing this Jed! Max Wedges are rare birds and rare builds in the Mopar Community! Love see these early 60's monsters on the track! Many people do not know the first factory NA car to break 11's was a 413 Max Wedge!
Just about the coolest video ever. Father and Son racing some ultra cool Mopar Historical Muscle.
I can’t believe both those Max Wedge cars are stick shifts..! I’ve got a big chub growing watching these awesome B-bodies !! Freekin Awesome !!!
Old Mopars on the racetrack. This must be the Holy Grail from Good Ol' Days.
Awesome!
😎
Love those Max Wedges! Set up right they are brutal! Thank you for sharing this ☺️
Hi guys, I'm a new subscriber, I just found you a few days ago. I'm a 73 yr o!d combat veteran , 101st Airborne infantry, two tour draftee, 1967. I love your channel, been a moose man all my life.. My best mopar was a 1969 GTX , dual quad 426 Hemi. I bought it used. Refreshed it and ran the hell out of it. I really enjoy your videos, makes me wish I could still drive. Keep making them, I'll keep watching!!!!
Thank for subscribing my friend, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the content, especially someone who was in the 101st Airborne, and I am sure you hear a lot of folks say it, but I truly do mean it, and I appreciate your service to this country.
Jed takes a break from filming And then comes back with this video Oh holy MA MOPAR😊
These are the corner stone of a mopar muscle, awesome cars thanks for sharing
Those cars are Awesome! Now I know why Justmoparjoe is building a 413 Big Block! Great Video! You don't see cars like that everyday.
Loved the start up!! Damn that thing sounds VICIOUS!!!!
Really cool piece of history. Thanks for sharing!
I could watch that all day 💯 ,seen many Darts in the back ground like my own , nice , them Hellcats are very impressive 💯👍
Excellent! Memories are flowing!
Those are the ones that bring back the nostalgia days nice show jed
I remember seeing the orange car and asking my dad about it(in the barn, circa 2011). It’s amazing how far its came. Thanks for sharing this brother! Glad you’re making content again. Prayers for the family!
Performance perfection and I am just in time 15 minutes off the press! Happy Monday to you all, God bless and enjoy your evening like I'm going to enjoy your video of this awesome machine!
Nothing and I mean nothing cooler than the early max wedge MoPars!!! Thank you for making this video, just awesome!!!!
I couldn't agree more man!
I love those old Max Wedge cars. 🤤🤤🤤
My favorite Mopars 1962 to1967 😊
Jed, I was down there with my son and daughter and we saw you filming these cars but didn’t know it was the Heberling boys. Very cool father and son cars👍
You should have come said hi
Thanks Jed fun video took me right back to the fun filled sixties. Groovy man 😎👍
Very cool , have not see that for a while. Keep up the good work Jed !!
Nice.
I had a 63 Plymouth Belvedere and a 62 Plymouth Savoy.
Thanks for the memories.
Happy Motoring and bye bye.
That's gotta be the blast from the past right there🤘 them are some nice looking cars, hoping maybe Jezebel might see the track this year, great vid jed👍
Awesome thanks Jed cool car's, I missed going to the drags our last one was few weeks ago but somehow they always put it on when it's raining lol so maybe next season will get there 🤔
I love those early B-bodies. All business and bad ass!
One of my favorite videos from your channel 👍👍
Thanks Jed ...really liked those cars and your video on them ...........BITCHIN
Oh hell yeah! 👍👍🤘✌🏻! Damn good to find a oldie and breathe new life back into it! Awesome
Liking two molars nice like the red one with fuel injection tubes
Neat cars! We thought they were fast back in the day! No match for my 2019 Hellcat Redeye wide body. 10.45 in the 1/4 at 130 mph. I was # 6 in the Bradenton Hemi Shootout last month. Neat video.
Good to see y'all again take care be safe
I have seen that car run a few times but that was years ago.
Cool to see the white one is running the old style slicks.
That was a great video! Thanks for sharing it!
Both of them are sweet looking cars 👍👍🇨🇱
My name is jesse and I've got a 1962 belvedere wagon that I'm looking to build into a max wedge clone with a 4 speed. this was incredibly cool to see awesome video!!!
Sweet cars and sweet sounds.
Nice 👌 I made it into a video lol. Glad to see this in person!
Great video enjoy every video you post
That was a awesome video, i really enjoyed watching the old school cars and ran pretty good times considering it hasn't ran in 30 yrs and with a little tweaking it would be faster than that easily
The Ken Permenter car needs a little more tuning and probably needs more driving, the engine is still basically freshly rebuilt
Both cars are awesome!
OUT STANDING!!!!!!!!!!
Yeeeeahh! Make em say Whibbida babbidda again! Alot!
Whibbida babbidda Whibbida babbidda!
Now that looks like a fun time.
Very beautiful cars
Very cool...hope you guys are doing well
Hey bro that's a bad ass car very sweet engine
Love the early B body mopars. I’m almost done building a 65 coronet hardtop... qa1 k frame , fiberglass hood , fenders, bumpers& deck lid. Shoving a 505 stroker 440 , with a Trickflow top end
Curious about what crankshaft you used?
Now that is old school
Pretty clean cars mopar always made something nice out of there cars
Old Savoy is awesome!
My dad has always wanted a 62 dart or polara. Hopefully one day I can surprise him with one.
awesome video.
Awesome !!
Very cool man
Those cars are awesome
My dad had a blue 63 plymouth just like this one.He sold it in 1968 in Fayetteville,NC. It was called The Fugitive. Contact me for pictures of it
I'd love to check that out chargerjezebel70@yahoo.com is my email
awesome thanks ---
Wish they had really turned them loose!!! I saw Kens car back in the 60s at Gainesville.
Ron has some tuning to do, the main goal is to preserve Ken's car and not tear it up
Hell ya!! Nice
Good ole 413!
Man that was awesome 👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅
VERY cool!
good shit jed wish I wasnt sick as a dog I would have been there
Ya would have had fun
Nice 426 max wedge car, with a rebel flag license plate.l have a 426 wedge block
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I want one!
It makes me feel all squishy in my boy parts.
Makes me want to go find an early B body
That was the golden era for Chrysler.
Sorry, for your lost.
Yeap alsome thanks for the video
Quiks draw is here!
You don't see them like that anymore
I’m building a 63 330 Two door sedan. Not sure which drivetrain yet.
I think that altered red car runs at Gld.
Smoking MoKan.
That 62 savoy 413 is bad to the bone
the plan was to go to this race, steering box went out in the car and i came down with covid
That sucks to hear man
was told the 383 in my
65 Coronet 500 ,
would have received chrome valve covers when installed in the ragtop model .
is this true ?
Uhh in 1965? I really don't know, stuff for Chrysler was so strange before they standardized everything. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if the dealer put them on. My 64 Polara 500 is a 383 HP 4 speed car, and it has all of the 426 street wedge stuff, chrome air cleaner valve covers, and exhaust manifolds. Atleast that's what people are yelling me is 426 wedge stuff
I didnt get to get to go to MOKAN . It would have been cool to meet chris birdsong
Chris doesn't go to Mokan
@@ScottsSpeedShop O ok 😎👍. one of my buddies that went told me that chris was there . maybe someone that looked kinda like him ? anyway he's full of it
Quick draw here
A 413 never heard of that its fast.
how fast did they run at the track?
It's in the video
63 is a real factory light weight??? Looks like it
Not a light weight car, but is a real 1963 Dodge 330 Max Wedge high compression car
Just never liked the looks of the early 60's Dodge or Plymouths, but ya stick a great motor in any of them they will have some git up n go.
Change my name from Michael DeWade McIntear to Captain Dew the name that they suppose to call me since I create the name in my old church class from summer 2009 and I need to re-edit my first video and extend it for a longer video on my channel also unmute the songs in my background on my video.
Dodge made some hideous cars back in the day
Hey jed they had to have the ugly Models. Cause then the handsome ones can be designed. Like yours every manufacturer had the ugly cars.
Not ugly at all
I actually prefer the early A & B bodies to the stuff like my charger
Dan Dvorak had a couple of these that were very fast in B/S eliminator. Gave our Firebird a run for it almost every time. They were very cool cars.
Personally I blame squirrels
