    i'm one of the finest subscribers known to man and as such must say you redeemed your whole review with your ending statement about sound quality. given the usual garbage ANC is, i don't want to hear about it or other marketing blather. i just want to hear the music as the artist/producer intended with comfort and w/o other conderns. so, in the end, good job. thanks.

    I just got mine today and I've listend to all types of music and am simply blown away by then. I LOVE B&W signature sound, which is natural. I also own the Px8 and am stunned how these earbuds can sound as good as their terrific over-the-ear headphones, which cost a few hundred $$ more. I like your review style a lot, btw.

    • @Patrickmathieu0482
      @Patrickmathieu0482 20 дней назад +4

      I can help you sir! I have over 100 earbuds and over 75 headphones over the ear. Denon perl pro is an excellent earbuds, BUT the sound is very "digitalized". When you do the sound test to have your sound profil, the sound is good for simple track. I explain: if you listen to Céline Dion, Adel, or song not complicated, the sound will be amazing. If you listen to heavy metal, punk rock, metal, there is a lot of heavy bass, heavy guitars, a lot of vocals and back vocals, so the Denon perl pro can't manage all this and give you a "digitalized" sound. You hear vocals up and down, guitars up and down, and all of the instruments. Oh by the way i speak french, so i try hard to explain. So, if you listen to metal, rock, heavy metal or something like this, you must buy the pi8!!!! I don't use the perl pro anymore just because of the lack of precision, the "digitalized sound". The fit is terrible too.
      The pi8 is the best sounding earbuds that i have with the devialet gemini 2 and the technics az80 and the momemtum tws 4 from sennheiser. Here is my ranking:
      1. Pi8
      2. Sennheiser momemtum 4 tws
      3. Devialet gemini 2
      4. Technics az80 (the volume is too low).
      5. Status between 3 anc
      Hope this help

      @@Patrickmathieu0482 IT seems you and me have tested all the same earbuds. So I ask this question. Do you really think the Devialet - Gemini II sound less good then the TW4s? Because I returned my TW3s for the 4s. And was so mad I could cry. Because of how muddy they sounded in comparison. Went on a return/exchange journey 4 deep. And found myself back with the Sennheiser momentum 3s again. But I must say. in testing the TW4s ,Technics az80, Denon perl pro and the Devialet - Gemini II. The Gemini sounded the best by a large margin. Had the most detail and sounded the loudest of them all. I only returned them because of a core annoying noise-cancelling glitch they had. But If I had the cash to own two pairs, one for daily commute and one for music enjoyment. I would hands down still keep them just to listen to music. So with saying all this. Do you really think the Pi8 are better then all you listed? I to listen to mostly rock( Indie Rock & Instrumental-Post Rock) music and some electronica and Epic-core music.

    As good as these high end earbuds are, I just can't see any real justification for the cost. Even the Snapdragon sound is offered as 1/4th the price in other models (like from earfun).
    The only 200 USD+ I can justify is the Bose QC Ultra because of their insane noise cancelling. It's just not something you can get from anything else except the Sony XM5 (which are about the same price).

    $400 🤣 😂 🤣 🙄
    TWS earbuds, it's for the convenience they bring on the go and not for the so-called "extraordinary" quality of sound 🔊 they could have that they are interesting (wired headphones at $50-$100 do much better in this area 🤷🏽‍♂️), they just need to have a good enough sound 🔊 (which 99% of tws have today), good ANC (these B&W Pi8s are not really the best in the field), and good microphone in phone calls in noisy environments (a lot of earbuds at $50-$100 do better than these Pi8s), this thing is a product for snubs, it's a scam 🤧
