I am very interested in an input overlay. I teach software and currently there are no good options that have both input history and graphics customization. I saw your reddit post telling another user that you would add some features if desired. Below are some features I would love added that would make me instantly purchase the software. 1) Input overlay plugin for OBS and/or XSplit. I would love to have your inputs show up as a source in OBS and XSplit that can be placed where desired on any given scene, and mute the input as needed. 2) Customize graphics for keys and mouse inputs in the history list instead of having the long text filling the space as it is now. For example: CTRL + RMB should show a keyboard pic with the text CTRL on it, and the RMB should show the mouse buttons graphic with RMB highlighted. Currently we see, Control + Right Mouse Button. This is difficult for viewers to keep track of and understand without being distracted from the actual lesson being taught to read text. All graphics should be able to be customized by the user in order to make the presentation of keystrokes and mouse clicks more professional looking and easier to understand with simple peripheral vision. 3) Mouse Graphics around cursor should be customizable as well. Having a rectangle pop up on the right or left side of the cursor looks generic, just as having the yellow highlight on the cursor. Having something like a circle around the cursor, then graphics representing the three mouse buttons that highlight when clicking might be a more elegant solution. Or just having three dots, each representing clicks, and highlighting when pressed. Perhaps three buttons representing the Shift, Ctrl and Alt keys around the circle as well, that way the student or viewer can see what is happening where the cursor is. This is especially important with graphics and 3D software. And even further, having a little space for a letter around the cursor to show the last key that was pressed (Ignoring keys that are pressed to make a word. Anyhoo, I do hope this software is still being supported. I think these additions would be a boon for the software. Thanks for hearing me out.
Thank you for the valuable feedback. The OBS issue is a known problem that I plan to address in the near future. But, regarding the other points: I am fairly strong-headed against cute graphics. I like spartan/lean/lite graphics.
A new version was published just now and it has full compatibility with OBS and customizable key names and keyboard combination names, plus many bug fixes. I am sure you will like the update.
Hello, do i need AHK for the commercial version aswell ? Can you maybe post an updated video on how to install and use the KeyPressed OSD for presentations, tutorials ? If it's not to complicated, i'm interested to buy 2 licences.
@@nls3081 you don't need ahk. Go to this link to buy it: gumroad.com/l/keypressosd/discount You just buy it and download the package. It's portable, no installation required.
Does it shows when a key is being holded? For example: I'd like to record a CorelDraw presentation: Ctrl pressed + grab a vector with the mouse. Some other similar softwares show only the key after you pressed it (keyed up). Regards.
Yes. It can show keys when constantly holding them and in combination with mouse buttons... Please test the trial version and if you like it, purchase it. Thank you.
Hiya Marius, I just tried to download the trial from your site to see if I like it, and my antivirus went nuts, the buy now button is fine, but clicking the trial button spazzes out my antivirus, I can always get it from the Microsoft store, but just thought I'd let you know about your site, not your fault I know
Thank you for the heads up. It's a known issue. Because it's an app that has to constantly monitor keystrokes to display them, some anti-virus apps overreact... Not much I can do about it 😔
@@vitto8112 please keep in mind that KeyPress OSD is available as trial. You can try it before buying. And it has presets specifically designed for screencasts. The default settings are for people with disabilities.

Magnificent. How can I control the opacity?
Go to preferences, appearances.
Really great and useful software.
is there any options to change background opacity? or to change box style, to make it slightly rounded corner.
