The whole song building up to a 30 seconds moment where everyone would chant in unison to vent their personal heartbreaks is the closest bond a worldwide artist can do to connect with his audience. I had the opportunity to do it myself last fall when Abel came to Colombia and hearing almost 50 thousand people singing that fragment on the top of everyone's lungs was priceless

I feel ya man. This song ATM hits home for me too. I lost my girlfriend around the beginning of the pandemic, she couldn't take the distance..I couldn't tell her all my truths and what I was going thru, living a double life. The lyrics sum it all up. Now it's my biggest regret, and I can't make amends with her, she wont accept anything from me, she changed overnight from a partner to a stranger, no matter what I've said or done. I'm less than zero to her now . Becareful of how you act and walk , some people won't be understanding or be able to deal with your choices. There's no laws in relationships, don't expect to be forgiven or understood, times have changed

The Weeknd’s music makes me miss people I stopped missing. Gives me nostalgia from some of the best times in my life which is a beautiful feeling but a sad one. So while his music makes me feel like I haven’t moved on, I know I have. And also gives me hope. His music inspired so much ambivalence inside myself. I love it. Been a fan for years. Easily my favorite artist. Id love more than anything to make a song with this man some day.
Hearing any of his older songs brings me back to when I thought I was on top of the world. They're joyful memories, but they smack me with the realization that im a completely different person now. One of the few artists I can still enjoy without getting caught up in regretful thoughts of the past.
