Eyes are resourcefully expensive to upkeep therefore when they weren’t being used evolution got rid of them or downgraded their capacity to work properly.
@@tazepatates4805 …lol ok bro based on what evidence?
Good to know. I never thought it was eerie, in fact, I thought about having some mantises as pets! I always thought it was really cool that they were always watching. But I never actually looking into this and why it's a thing. Thank you for sharing!!
It's never creeped me out, I have, do and always will be adorable 🥰
You always will be adorable? Good for you :)
For real, it's just such a cute bug
That straw explanation was probably the best analogy I have ever heard
Always noticed this on my pet mantises... I think it adds a kind of charm.
I will never be able to unsee it
I love insects. Creeped me out a little when I was a kid. Now at 63 I am fascinated by how the survive. Thank you! ❤❤
I'll be 63 in a couple months. Love insects- they are fascinating and amazing creatures.
I fucking love Praying Mantises
"I don't understand..."
Straws: "Allow me to introduce myself." 😂😂
Start: "Damn thats creepy"
Middle: "Oh thats cool"
End: "Damn thats creepy"
Them straws making my trypophobia go off the charts.
💚 Thank you for your efforts. I really appreciate it. You are great!
Omg thank you for explaining it like that!! It makes so much sense!!!

Where's thatala😂
Nice defense strategy for preventing seek attacks. Predators would think they've already been spotted.
Never has a creature looked so terrifying yet so adorable.
To everyone in this chat, Jesus is calling you today. Come to him, repent from your sins, bear his cross and live the victorious life ..

Imagine huge aliens looking like that as some people say... LOL
The example with the straws was well done
I love their little dot on their eyes 🤣🥰 my mantises still haven’t hatched 🐣 yet and they’re starting to get me worried because they should be full grown by late august at the latest 😅
Are you sure the ootheca was fertilized? They lay them regardless.
Really good analogy!
Awful analogy
@@jappish no, it's quite good. Do you have a better one?
Really cute footage of mantises. They look chill. 😊
Wow I have never knew that! And I actually know quite a lot of things so well done;) Thank you! What a great explanation!
Mantis are cool and smart. Same with dragon flys. Even bees seem kinda smart.
I love the mantis it’s my favorite insect!
Our creator certwinly is intelligent 🙏🏽 all matter so intelligently put together, addems making up of the known universe and all its life forms
bees aren't kinda smart, they're straight up sentient.
they communicate visually and with scent, they have a sort of Morse code they perform with bumbling their bodies around.
they also live in complex societal communities that rival our own in terms of organization and hierarchy. Hell, they even fire bees who get drunk on fermented honey by chewing their legs off
Bees are so smart that if another bee comes back home drunk from drinking from spoiled flowers they'll either be exiled OR dismembered to death as punishment. Limb from limb. 😰
Fascinating.
mantis rn 🍷🗿
This is a very informative video.
Thank you!
