The Children of the Forest aren't literally children, it's just what that tribe of beings are called.
That’s at least what humans call them.They refer to themselves as “Those who sing the song of the earth.”
But they are literally very short

The actor that played king Robert did such a good job, I think him and Ned stark are probably my favorite casting choices of the whole show. I loved their friendship.. it would have dope to see Robert in his prime lol
The shock I had, as a book reader, seeing Mark Addy cast as Robert when I watched him in Full Monty, lol. But he did an amazing job. Both of them.

Each story is told from a different perspective so you may hear the same story twice but with the person who’s saying it perspective :)

Yay! Im so glad you are doing this. Please do it in every season, if there is too much repetition then just skip some sections but at least look at the titles to see which parts are not a repetition. Unlike the show, the histories and lore gets better in the later seasons, esp season 8
I love watching these guys so much. They love taking the small bits of what they know and try understand what it all means or where it could lead to. Sometimes they're right, but so many times they're wrong but once they realize the true meaning they are blown away. That right there is the core of The Game of Thrones. I freaking love it.

I wanted to point out that Argon had to spare the people he conquered; otherwise, he would have been ruling an empty kingdom.
The Histories & Lore series is great and its based on the books. Some of the details don't even have significance in the show but might possibly have some importance in the last two books.
Yeah since they are long you can always do it in several groupings. When I first watched these, I watched it in 30 mins parts and went back, cause its a lot of info.

@AkinReacts it's long but good all three lord of the rings movies the extended versions plus The Hobbit movies extended versions. (You can't go wrong with all 6 of these movies plus all the views and likes you will get for the most epic movies EVER Made👍🏾)
One of the reasons Ned was so upset by the sack of kings landing is that he seems to have been quite fond of rhaegar (despite the obvious) in his chapters in the first book he even wonders if rhaegar would have been a better king than Robert. I think he loved the rest of his life wondering what would have happened if rhaegar overthrew aerys himself
It's not rhagar Ned liked at best he's indifferent to him , Ned was upset about the death of rhagars wife and children who had nothing to do with the war and Robert letting tywin get away with such injustice.

Don't feel bad about not remembering people's names. It took me a long time to remember names 😂 at the end of the day it's an amazing show and book series. Season 2 is where it all gets ramped up further.

The anduls are basically every house thats in the south of westaros for example the lannesters, bratheions and Tully's are anduls , westaros os split into 3 ethics the first men ( the north ( anduls ) everyone else, and a third who isn't talked much which is tte rhoynar who live in dorne you wont see them till season 4 .
Brandon the builder a master builder did build the wall using giants

To add to a previous comment The Children of the Forest are only as tall as Children and have pale green skin and Lime green eyes.
Legends have it that they eventually fled to the far north...
Remember the Dragon skull that Arya hide it when she was chasing cats in the dungeon?? Rumor has it that skull was Aegon the Conqueror's Dragon Balerion The Black Dread.
It's clear with the different perspectives of a few of these chapters that The Southerners have little respect for The Night's Watch or believe in the White Walkers.

This one covers very little in my opinion. Can I recommend checking Alt Shift X's channel for more in depth lore and history. The worldbuilding of ASOIAF is in my top 3 of fantasy worlds. House Targaryen is fascinating once you accept all the incest.

Since nobodys mentioned it the whole "Targaryen madness" thing that robert talked about is vastly over exaggerated less then 1% of Targaryens went " mad " and it had nothing to do with incest keep in mind Robert is insanity biased against them so you shouldn't take everything he says about them as 100% fact same goes for visarys tre truth is somewhere in the middle.

Bro turn off the subtitles man they are misleading. For ex. “Arm or dawn” is supposed to be “arm of dorne”. Clearly the first one is forgettable but the second one implies that Dorne is something important and not just a metaphorical place
