Manitobans Get No Say on Major New Laws

After being given the chance to bring dozens of new laws and legislative changes in their $24-billion omnibus budget bill to public hearings, Wab Kinew and every one of his NDP MLAs said no.
The NDP omnibus bill rams through a budget that rakes in hundreds of millions in new taxes, doubles political subsidies for their re-election war chest, forces workers to unionize, and hikes the gas tax and your Hydro bills behind closed doors. All while denying Manitobans the right and opportunity to provide input through public committees.
