is this supposed to be a companion piece to "Love Bug"? I know it came from the same producer and it sounds similar.
Yup, same concept band from Patrick Adams and Gregory Carmichael. Check out their album "Sting Like A Bee" for more buzzing disco delights!

More of a novelty song than disco...
+ragemanchoo82 maybe, but nowhere near the level of Disco Duck, neither in popularity nor in terms of producers jumping on a bandwagon for a quick buck. the people behind Bumblebee Unlimited are some of disco's greatest producers.
please, share with us what you consider some of disco's greats?
+pabloplato Actually listening through the whole thing just now I'd say its both novelty -and- disco. Greatest hits? Hmm... Odyssey - "Native New Yorker", Eruption - "I Can't Stand the Rain", First Choice - "Double Cross", Mother Father Sister Brother - "The Sound of Philadelphia", Sylvester - "Mighty Real", The Trammps - "Disco Inferno" (I know its really popular but I think its great), Sheila B. Devotion - "Love Me Baby", and there are probably more but I don't know the names because SoundHound only works like 20% of the time these days.
growing up as a kid hearing this in my youth... it gave a universal understanding feeling and still feel that way as i listen to this now....
love at the simplest level buzzz buzzz buzzzzz
Not novelty, as novelty should be considered out of the ordinary. This is categorized under the genre Funk in the style Disco combined with the (post-)Euro Disco and coming after that Italo Disco. Those manipulated (high pitched) voice technology was nothing new, if you consider Herbie Hancock (solo keyboardist and record producer) used the 'autotuned' voice as we know it today too for 'I Thought It Was You' (released in 1978). So did Lipps Inc. with 'Hold Me Down' (1981), but also the famous 'robot voice' was familiar within the (post-)Euro Disco scene with the most famous Kraftwerk (German band), but also Kano (Italian Disco band). But after all, wasn't every Disco band unique in their own way?
Isn’t disco a bit of a novelty though?
this is my shit and i was born in early 90's
Age of year does not matter. I was born in 1996 but I know my classics thanks to knowledge regarding history of the Disco era. And no, that does *not* include GTA.. I'm proud to say I have my real memories rather then the virtual ones..
Count Cadillac this song was in GTA?
du rêve
Drugslab anyone?
Friendly Gnome me :D
Bzzbzzzbzzz......!!! Ma che ne sai te!!!!!!
