As a noob, I have tried getting into the game several times over the years its been out. Your guides are the whole reason I am super into the game now, I find something mechanically confusing, boom, fly on over to Granny Gamester and learn all I need to make it make sense. Thank you, truly!
Thank you, that is a high compliment and I am happy to hear you are into the game again! It is a complicated game but one of the best out there. So glad I could help you out!. Have fun! ❤
Just got my first horse today though plenty more on ice. Currently have an authority build that allows two thralls and a mount. I’ve found the horse to be a great way to quickly level up (at least halfway) two thralls at a time - allowing me to quickly race from croc to croc etc while I stay mounted with a steel spear. Good practice for me too in both maneuvering my mount and commanding my thralls responsively.
Sorry for the delay in answering your comment but I was away on vacation and completely unplugged. That is a great way to level up and getting in practice on your horse! Thanks for sharing AVapectre! :-)
Awe thank you Keith! I had a dapple gray in my lifetime and he was a sweet heart! Loved to jump, but I didn't LOL Sold him to a woman who could use his talents and he won many ribbons for her!

I've got my foal in the pets slot and plant fiber in the food slot but nothing appears in the crafting queue! What am I doing wrong or have they changed what food to give? 🤔 Can anyone help please?
You need a stable for the horses and not a pet pen so that is why it is not working. Let me know if that is not the problem and I will help you figure it out. :-)
@@GrannyGamester when u click on it, it states at top it is stable not small animal pen. Think it had glitched out like my invisible greater shalebacks as it's working again now I turned game off and reloaded it! You can only see the eyes of my shalebacks not even it's health bar or anything so very difficult to see them! Thanks for replying back
@@Funkie_Monkey Thanks for letting me know! You are not the first one saying the horse pen was not working correctly but he never got back to me so I wasn't sure. Glad it's working for you now.🙂
Hi Darci! They do take a long time to grow so if you have put your baby foal in the stable and have plant fiber in the inventory as well, on the left hand side of the screen on the very bottom you will see a horse in the first box. That means your baby is growing. If you do not see a horse in the first box, that means your baby is not growing. Try taking the baby and plant fiber out and putting them back in. Please let me know if it works for you and if not I will help you further. :-)
Horses are different than pets because they do not fight. Thralls and fighter pets are pretty much the same. Here is a guide I did for pets and it is pretty much the same method for thralls. 3.0 has changed it though and there are only 4 attributes for them now Str, Agility, Vit and Grit. Still works the same though. Here is a link to the vid I did. ruclips.net/video/1V9jwmkwc28/видео.html
You don't need to put the horse in the box. When you click on your horse in your inventory he will automatically go in the stable. In the lower right hand corner you will see him grow via a white line underneath him. When he is mature, he will show up in the box.
The horses have their own pen called a stable. You need to look for it in your Companion section. That is the only pen you can raise them in. You must also have it checked off in your knowledge. Hope this helps. 🙂
Kind of a random question. I also have built bases in the area you're at. But do purges actually still attack if you put your base on top of the hill you have to climb up behind your base? Seems to be plenty of room to build a very big base but I can't tell if somehow magically enemy troops will spawn on it.
Sometimes that does happen and when it does it is a glitch in the game. Purges are not supposed to spawn in your base but they will if they don't have a clear path. All you have to do is make a choke point that is open for them to funnel through and place some of your best thralls there. Doesn't always work because purges can be unpredictable! Hope this helps lastwolford. :-)
I just recently noticed they have sturdy foals besides just foals and I think there are other types too. Anyone know what the different types are and their benefits?
Hi Let's love, no you so not need to make the saddle first. If you made a stable and put plant fiber in it to feed him he should grow in the stable. You will see a white bar slowly fill up on the right hand bottom of your screen. If there is no horse in that box then either you didn't put the right food in or there is a glitch or something. If the settings for your taming on your game or server are really low it will take a long time for your horse to tame, so be patient for the white bar to fill up.
You have to be a level 60 and have the ability to make Epic Armor to be able to make hardened leather on the armorers bench. You can put a tanner or armor on the tanners bench.
The name of the foal really doesn't have any effect on the horse. You should be able to sprint but pushing down on your right joy stick. Hope this helps :-)
Umm, you make very good videos but you really don't want to grow their strength because they don't attack. Agility also doesn't effect speed. This can all be tested. Vitality is super important so he doesn't die :D

It is all over the world but plentiful in the Highlands region. On the East Noob River you can find it by the Imp Docks.

How to revive the horse?
Once a horse dies you can’t revive him. If he takes damage he can heal by eating the food you give him.
