MKUZE MAGIC - birding, game viewing and some important information!

After dreaming of visiting Mkuze for years, the trip finally happened.

Unfortunately we went in January, so the forest walk was flooded. However, I’ve been lucky to see the Pels a few times along the Olifants River! 😇

Are access roads suitable for a normal caravan?

Hi Brendan what is the security like at the camp site. Is it completely fenced or is it an issue.

Hi Alan, the camp is completely fenced - apart from the entrance which is protected by an electrified cattle grid.
It definitely felt safe, as long as one keeps in mind that in Big 5 areas a higher level of alertness is always required!
