    great review man! I am currently 70km into my new v2 and im loving it! ive had problems with other bikes like gsxr 600-1000 and r1-r6. where shoulders hurt and my wrists are falling asleep. but this v2 is so great! ive had a winter break and with my first trip i did not feel it in my shoulder or my wrists. and the power delivery is excellent! also loving the electronics! the only think i dislike with the panigale is the price for parts. i litereally have to sell my car to afford a new slip-on exhaust. its so overpriced!

      PureGoProAction I'm surprised you had problems with the GIXXER 600 with your wrists, for me 6.2ft it's been the most comfortable sport bike I've owned.. I had the k7 Gixxer 600 yoshiR55 PC5 and in comparison to my 899 Pani it's light and day more comfortable as in the GIXXER being the most comfortable..

      @@NoneNone-kp1qc honestly after writing this comment and driving the v2 for a while i changed my mind. my shoulder got sore again and the sitting position was acually pretty agressive on longer trips. the more i drove it the more i started to hate the bike. compared to other bikes it is the best looking bike ive ever seen. but it stops there. i changed out my v2 for a bmw s1000rr and that one was way better. it was fun, agressive and chill to ride. but when i was on a 12hour drive with my bmw, my back just killed me. im probably not made to have a sportsbike. so i migrated back to supermoto and stunting now. its way more fun but its been a great experience to have these nice bikes in my garage. hope you enjoy your bike :)

      PureGoProAction creat comment mate... totally agree with the part they look good in the garage lol... in all fairness the longest all in one session ride I've done in the past 20 years is a trip to the Alps 6 years ago and bar a few trips to the TT and none of them were longer than 10 hour straits on the go... I'm 40 years young and there's no way I could last longer than 3 hours on a sports bike without falling to peaces... a good friend of mine traded his 2007 R1 in last year for a Harley bobba and has loved every second of it, I think I might by an old bandit and transform it in to a Caff racer instead of buying another bike that's pleasing to the eyes and terrible for the back.. all the best 👍

    Great two part review thanks. Loving the reports on this bike. Would the used 1199S now be a better purchase or wasted for road riding only. Some good deals on them second hand now and I'm sure will only get better if this virus lockdown continues

      bri sprott I wanted to ask the same thing. About to buy a v2 but feeling tempted by a 1299 used which is actually cheaper. I 100% prefer the v2 looks and it’s more than enough power for me, but would it be more bang for my buck to get a 1299? Annoyingly it’s not really possible to test both at the moment! I would hardly be tracking the bike, mostly road riding and even short commutes to work in nice weather

    G-Man, that’s a beautiful bike. I have a question, and I hope you can answer it. It’s not about the v2, but about the Ducati monster 821, and the Triumph Street Triple R. I don’t have any riding experience, and I’m looking to purchase my first bike. I’m a 5’4 Woman from the US. I was wondering if you think either of those bikes would be a good first bike? Especially with the different riding mods. I would also by frame sliders with either bike just to be safe. I’m not the type to go over road legal speed limits, but i also want a bike that I can grow into. I would really appreciate it if you responded to my question. Also I love the 1290 Duke.🙂

    • @GMANS_BIKES_CARS
      @GMANS_BIKES_CARS  4 года назад +2

      Hi Hun, great you want to get into biking, the 821 or the Street Triple would be great first bikes and not too big and you can keep them in the lower power modes till you get used to the power then progress to higher power when you feel more confident! Just need to check the seat heights but neither is a very tall bike, happy bike hunting x

    Only complaint about this review is you said since it’s broke in a bit you could get on the throttle and feel the power... and then you never even got high enough rpm’s to have a shift light come on. You short shifted 2 times when you could’ve just stayed in the gear you were in (2nd maybe?) and just let it get to redline and then back off. I generally test power by leaving the bike in first gear and going up to redline so I don’t go so fast I get a felony, (60mph/97kmh most first gears top out) and still feel the power.

    Thanks for the vid! Now you can buy a low mileage 959 with akra pipes for 8.5k, reckon it’s a smarter purchase than this for 15k? Is there that much difference to warrant the difference in £££? I feel the 959 is one of the least “attractive” of the panigale range and think this is reflective of the relatively good price for a immaculate 2nd hand model

    Hello. I am deciding between v4s and v2. I know the price is huge difference cannot really compare. But my question is the main reason I am buying is for the auto suspension.
