Sir what is the difference between tamilnadu book and old ncert for ancient and mediaeval i am totally confused which book i have to prefer for my preparation, because i have completed half chapters of tamil nadu book.

I am continuously searching on you tube for getting answers of my doubts related to UPSC exam and its syllabus but I have realised that Your channel is the only channel which provides good information to aspirants. I m the one of that aspirants who has passed 12th class this year and started preparation from NCERT books this month . I am seriously following the booklist suggested by you but I have a question from you . Is ncert only necessary for making base strong ? Or Has it another importance in UPSC exam ?
