As a car-guy I love the fact the fact that the sound of the car is the original sound. In every scene, it is the right car you hear. So many movies fake it. Just a little fact to the best movie ever made.
The part with the neighboor was pretty good, but I literally couldn't stop laughing for 10 minutes when he said: "This man had a nose bleed over a canvas and he asks 30000 Euros for it....!" This was quite a line! :)
The parking scene is great for showing how driss changes and grows in the movie. Here, he is quite violent and aggressive about it (establishing his character well) but later when someone else is parked in the exact same spot, he is firm with them, rather than violent.
Well, it's also true that in this scene it was a neighbor that would park there regularly, while later it was someone who made a simple mistake and was well behaved.
No lol he was violent because the man knew he didn’t have the right to be there with his car but didn’t care . And with the second person he wasn’t violent , it was the first time for this person to be here with his car and didn’t know he was not suppose to be here .

Honestly I just love this movie so much. Years ago when I went to a french school we watched this movie in class to analyze and I remember loving it so much. Coming back to it is just so nice. I love the contrast between how Driss deals with the guy parking where he shouldn't be in this clip, and then again at the end. It shows how much the character changes.
This movie is absolutely a MUST SEE !! And it's even better if you can watch it in French because the translation doesn't do it justice... like at all !!!
Memories...we watched this movie in a philosophy class and I was sitting next to a white close friend of mine and I was the only black kid in the class, as soon as the movie ended everybody started staring at us, even the teacher told us we look like the actors from the movie...aah the good old days 😂😂😂

Its even more hilarious when you understand what he's saying. He's basically saying that he can't do this, its demeaning to push the guy in the wheelchair in the back of a van like a horse :D
