    +1 for Ricky Royal - love his play throughs.
    For what it's worth, your vision is unlikely to improve. You'll swear everyone is printing things with smaller and smaller font. As you get further into your late 40's and early 50's, you'll become more dependent on reading glasses for near work. It can sometimes seem like it worsens in a matter of days. And in some cases, distance vision may change as well. Don't fight it - embrace it. Just think how much more distinguished you'll be wearing some nice hip frames! :-)

    Thank you for the work. You are a big help. I bought more then one game after watching one of your reviews. Today was the first time I realized how fast you are talking. I set the viedeo on half speed and it was still comfortable to watch. You put a lot of energy out there.

    No disrespect to Ricky Royal but his playthrough/tutorials for this game got me a little bored. While it is informative to learn the mechanics of the game, it took a long time to get to the meat and bones of how you play and why this might be a good game.
    But after watching Rahdo's playthrough I am now SERIOUSLY considering backing this project. So props to Ricky Royal for making a fun looking game on his first shot too. It seems like a game up my alley. You are doing a great service to the community in helping sell these games. Thank you for your playthroughs and reviews and keep up the great work.

      I actually like his more flat delivery. Is whole game can go down the tubes, or he could pull off something amazing and it is just "ok, so now that we had that happen, these are my options."
      Also, "first game" if you dont count Mentis ;)

    Watching this play through, I can't help but notice the opportunity for massive analysis paralysis. It definitely suffers from "too much theme" with the different names for everything. Neither of these things would stop me backing this game, I just know that this might get slow with 4 players.

    interesting. Tile font IS an issue. Form should follow function, and card function description text is essential. And all those terms, I know IT but get confused all the same.

    Interesting take on cyber warfare.
    Little token things looks like they feel good to handle, remind me of those small round lego pieces. Tho without handling them myself, i cant really confirm :)

    With the exception of Fuse, I really don't like "beat your score" objectives at all either. I agree the borders should be axed from the cards. Thanks for your thoughts!

      I don't generally care about beating my own scores either. One exception is 'Terraforming Mars'. But at least you need to complete the terraforming in order to score, so there is also an objective to beat.
      Not having played Renegade yet, I wonder if ignoring the objectives is meant to be a 'Plan B' if you realize early that you simply cannot beat the combination of objectives you've drawn for the game. If so, it would be the equivalent of preparing for Final Battle in 'Arkham Horror':
      If you see no way of closing or sealing the gates before the Ancient One awakens, the best course of action is to just ignore them and instead heal up, get all the gear that might help, maybe try to get a few investigators blessed and just hope you can beat the Ancient One in final combat.
      It's still a win, but not as good as winning by closing or sealing gates.

    Nice runthrough and seems like a great game! I agree with your thoughts on art and font size. Simplify the why is always a good idea! I'm curious if it would help if the wild icon color was a rainbow of all the colors represented in the game instead of just purple? Similar to a rainbow color image like on Guilds of London cards

      well, the symbols are the one thing that's pretty easy to parse already i think :)

      I would have thought you'd mention that, should the icons be more suggestive / intuitive, you'd more easily project yourself in the use of the programs (not just calling them by colors), if for instance the blue icon was a fast-forward double arrow to show movement, the red was a sword, the yellow found a way to show replication (1 circle pointing to 2 circles?), the purple was a star, the green had its brain much bigger without a circle around it.
      Am I mis-interpreting some of your thoughts?

    I don't understand the complaints regarding the game's terminology. Everything is very clear and separated by color and symbol. Takes two minutes to pick up. And, really, let's be honest: there are many games with just as much terminology, or more. Sounds like computer jargon just isn't your thing.
    The reason why they're not all called viruses is because they aren't all viruses; each contaminant type indicates a unique function, and messing that up would indeed make it difficult to follow. If they were all the same thing, just colored differently, the game would be /yawn-inducing ... just like every other low-rent, no-brain-required board game you find in non-specialty stores, like Walmart.
