I'm a longtime musician. Gotta put Mr. James (not Jim) Morrison as one of the most talented musicians I've ever heard in a lifetime. He plays piano, trumpet, trombone and bari-saxophone, all as a maximum-talented skilled musician. I'm sure he can sing and play harmonica too. Unheard of. He's a super-player accompanied by super-talented musicians; namely that young "Eb" drummer, crazy bassman and the coolass guitar player. And, I can't forget that super-talented Alto sax player. He was totally off the chain too. Thankis James, not Jim Morrison for a very special musically-jazzy set of great music. More, More, More ... TC --- Are you all in Sydney, Australia?
Thank you James Morrison for this wonderful music. Such a wonderfully talented group of musicians. Been to a number of your concerts and you just get better and better. Thank you.
Just pure pleasure. James Morrison? A god. That said, though, it would be great to name and acknowledge the rest of the band. Wonderful playing, guys. Nice work backing this monster...
Lovely Stuff! Thanks muchly for posting this. Just a couple of things. The title of track № 3 is "Lover Man" not Love Man; and that of № 5 is "Autumn Leaves", no "The"
Absolutely! Here it goes for you: James Morrison - Trumpet/Piano Ebunoluwa Daramola - Drums William Morrison - Guitar Phil Stack - Bass Patrick Lefevre - Sax
Thank you for tuning in for a night of swinging jazz with The James Morrison Quartet.

That freaking bass player is fantastic. The dude clearly loves life and loves his music.
Was fortunate to hear James in a St. Louis jazz club years ago and he is a staggering player on many instruments. Great talent and then some.
Pandemic crowd, but their hearts were in it! Always a great show with James!
James Morrison, every time I listened to him his playing got richer and richer.
That was a great concert. Thank you James Morrison and the Sydney Opera House for bringing it into our homes this way.

Best Australian group ever !
I remember hearing Patrick with James' Academy big band and he has a delightful warm open sound. This is pretty well captured in this recording.
Just pure pleasure. James Morrison? A god. That said, though, it would be great to name and acknowledge the rest of the band. Wonderful playing, guys. Nice work backing this monster...

Wonderful! Missed it live last night but thank the Lord it's here on RUclips.
Yep, your imaginary friend made sure that this concert ended up on RUclips, it had nothing to do with the producers of the programme.
James Morrison is the best musician in the Space.

Just a couple of things. The title of track № 3 is "Lover Man" not Love Man; and that of № 5 is "Autumn Leaves", no "The"
That was a French song called "Les feuilles mort" to capture the 'dead leaves' of Autumn.
Commonly known as Autumn leaves to us non Frenchies..
وربي عظما ♥️
Sacha Distel must be humming to himself up there somewhere.
Could you add the names of his sidemen to the video description? Thanks!
Absolutely!
Here it goes for you:
James Morrison - Trumpet/Piano
Ebunoluwa Daramola - Drums
William Morrison - Guitar
Phil Stack - Bass
Patrick Lefevre - Sax
He credited Sinatra, but it was Sacha Distel's composition.
I would never imagine The Flash could play the saxophone
Really, A good life where only the hall is one third full. Courtesy of the globalsitrs!
