Are hydrogen cars possible?
Hydrogen Cars Currently Available
Since 2015, three hydrogen -powered cars have been offered for sale from three different car companies: the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell, the Hyundai Nexo SUV, and the Toyota Mirai.
Is hydrogen cars better than electric?
As with electric cars, hydrogen cars produce zero harmful emissions on the road, but unlike electric cars, which take a fair amount of time to recharge, hydrogen cars can be refilled about as quickly as a petrol or diesel car.
Is hydrogen cheaper than fuel?
On average, gasoline cars get 30 mpg and midsize gasoline hybrids 42 mpg. As can be seen in the figure, FCV fuel cost is three times higher per mile than a gasoline hybrid and two times higher than that of a conventional gasoline vehicle.
Why are hydrogen cars not used?
The vast majority of car companies have turned away from hydrogen because of the high density of energy consumed in its production, as well as poor funding and backing from governments, which is stopping the hydrogen revolution from expanding ever more.
How much does 1 Litre of hydrogen cost?
The cost of hydrogen as fuel is very cheap when compare to other fuels. Hydrogen gas costs just Rs. 30 per liter making it the cheapest option that India is not considering
Do hydrogen cars make noise?
Hydrogen fuel cells do not produce noise pollution like other sources of renewable energy, such as wind power. This also means that, much like electric cars, hydrogen powered vehicles are much quieter than those that use conventional internal combustion engines.
How far can hydrogen cars go?
300-400 miles
Fuel cell cars can carry enough hydrogen fuel for 300-400 miles of range and their tanks can be refilled as quickly as that of a standard car's gas tank. Current lease deals often include up to three years of complimentary fuel.
Can hydrogen explode?
Hydrogen used in the fuel cells is a very flammable gas and can cause fires and explosions if it is not handled properly. Hydrogen fires are invisible and if a worker believes that there is a hydrogen leak, it should always be presumed that a flame is present.
Can hydrogen cars run on water?
To fuel a hydrogen car from water, electricity is used to generate hydrogen by electrolysis. The resulting hydrogen is an energy carrier that can power a car by reacting with oxygen from the air to create water, either through burning in a combustion engine or catalyzed to produce electricity in a fuel cell.
How far can you drive with 1 kg of hydrogen?
In any of the latest fuel cell cars, 1 kg of hydrogen will let you drive 97 - 100 km.

Conversation of hydrogen(Electrolysis of Water) should be done by Solar or wind energy, then only it will be green Hydrogen
ये तो वही बात हुई कि डीज़ल , कोयले से जनरेटर चलाये, उससे बिजली बनाये बिजली से हाइड्रोजन बनाये और उसी हाइड्रोजन और ऑक्सीजन से फिर से बिजली बनाये। अब इससे क्या होगा कि जितना डीजल कोयला बिजली बनाने में खर्च हुआ और उसी बिजली से हाइड्रोजन में खर्च होने वाली बिजली और कार में प्रोड्यूस होने वाली बिजली की मात्रा आधी ही रह जायेगी। जिससे अच्छा विकल्प है गाड़ी में तेल डालिये और ले जाइए। अभी के लिए यही सही है।

If we split water into H and O within the car through electrolysis and then we mix again H and O we can have electric to run the car. If it happens we do not need to go to hydrogen filling station.
you need electricity to produce H2 in the car.
Most of the electricity will go to splitting
Hydrolysis or electrolysis process to split water in to H and O is highly inefficient. This is not pratical.
It almost takes 6kw of electricity to produce 1500LPH if HHO.
So dont even think about it.😂😂

If hydrolysis process is not effective to generate electricity because it takes more energy then the idea of hydrogen car will fel and there will be not future in it and again we will have to depend on renewable and non renewable resource of energy
