Pbg getting lost is always my favorite part of these hardcores.
Honestly they didn't have to cut it. Jeff for some idiotic reason decided to not include the grand adventure (which had an enderman battle and PBG's excursion). Honestly Jeff is proving he is not a good editor and has no clue what he's doing.
Riffler Underhill You know it's possible that it was really boring and it had good reason for being cut. They could not have said funny things or made any worthwhile commentary on the happenings, or decided while it was actually being played that they would cut it and Jeff was doing what they agreed on and was told to do by PBG.
You haven't seen the footage, you're just assuming that it would be interesting. Generally when things are cut is because they are in fact NOT interesting.
But nah Jeff is just a shit editor right

He died fighting the final boss and then Barry in his insanity in the Nether fought using a sword with Dean's spirit in it. If Dean isn't one of the first to die, he's usually one of the final few to make it. MineZ really did'nt do him justice on when he died though, so its safe to assume McJones was dead before him as well as ProJared

I'm still always sad to hear Caddy's, "I'M SO SORRY, I PANICKED!" and Barry's, "Okay, okay.." in the intro. *(I'm gonna put some spoilers below!)*
From that ending part, I can tell PBG will die. I'm pretty sure in hard mode, Guardians take 6 hearts away, and PBG was at 3 while one was aiming at him.

I found it hilarious at around 20:20 having watched all the hardcores and seeing them make fun of each other.

You suffocate while riding a horse through blocks... You know developers, you could just not let them get on a horse when it's too short. But I guess that's too complicated.

sourcream uwu Yeah, half the challenge is making it out alive, and they don't even have to do that. I did it with a friend and we beat it first try, without any armor enchants. However we were playing on Normal, so it will still be a tough challenge.

I will say this is always my favourite part of the Hardcores. The brief calm before the storm when all the planning and harvesting and building has paid off, when the plans come together and our stalwart heroes ride off for the final battle...
I say brief, because it usually turns tragic. *Really* fast.

Oh man, next episode is going to be cutting it close. This is my favorite series on RUclips and way better and more entertaining than any movie or TV show I've ever seen. I think PBG's dead, and unless Dean's helping him, Jeff's gone too. What they should've done is dig a tunnel under the ground into the temple, unless the mining fatigue reaches that far. Once they're inside, they can set up safe zones and work from there. For anyone who doesn't know, there's three Elder Guardians while the tiny ones are just Guardians. One elder is in the middle, and there's one in each of the side hallways. They should be able to snipe the side ones using the safe zones, and all go in on the third one. Once they get in, they're golden. Unfortunately, that's the hardest part. I fear we may see yet another failure next episode, folks. It all comes down to strategy.

Wait what! I haven't played Minecraft in a while, but when the hell and why did they change enchanting so much? I like the use for Lapis, but now you can't get random and you can actually see the thing you're getting???
MisterMcEpicPants Hug I posted a comment above about the mechanics they changed, but in short, yeah. You can get enchantments other than the one listed, the one listed is simply guaranteed. I don’t know why they changed it so much (probably because level grinding to completely deck oneself out was annoying) but I like it better now, due to the lowered experience cost of actually enchanting and a guaranteed enchant being displayed. (By the way, release 1.8 was when it changed.)

Julian Glen Yeah, I was wondering why they'd pass up redstone but mine lapis.
MisterMcEpicPants Hug The practicality of mining up redstone is fairly limited in Hardcore anyway, aside from extending potions. It’s great for automating processes and building Rube Goldberg Contraptions of Doom, but that’s not a focus in these Hardcore series because they would just be a waste of time. The ore is still good for experience grinding, though.

Bring milk, the ender guardians give you mining fatigue and other status effects, but the milk will erase underwater breathing along with mining fatigue, and bring Notch apples or Golden apples.

This episode was probably the funniest. Way to make slaughtering innocent pigs funny.

These episodes are the perfect length now, thanks for making them a bit longer guys its much more fulfilling at 18-20 mins long. It makes a big diffrence for me anyways ;)
I'm not normally critical about editing in this series but I really kind of wanted to see them in a village for the first time in HC. And PBG getting lost again. Maybe it would have been boring, yeah, but the intermission was then followed by 5 minutes of "What enchantments you got?" Once you cut back in it would have been nice to have a little tour of the base or something too. Earlier the whole journey to the new island got cut too and that felt odd. I can understand not wanting to watch the reeds grow, but the other stuff seemed like it would have been neat rather than just getting to the...err...action.
I cannot believe that PBG chose the Fire Protection while their quest is underwater.

And just so you guys know, when/if they get inside the temple (Pbg will probably die before getting inside judging as the guardiam was about to hit him at 3 hearts) inside the temple guardian's are really easy to fight as it's filled with hallways that you can easily stop their laser attack in while outside they can attack easily from a distance completely killing you unless you have a bow to combat the range.
Man, I wished the part with the village was kept in. I don't think they've ever found in a village in a hardcore.
I want to see that unseen footage of that whole reed adventure! 😂
