    Today we react to some more of this incredible talent's singing. He has an unbelievable range and amazing control over his voice. We get to hear Dimash sound like a spaceship, a mouse and a tea kettle. We also get to find out that the person who put together this compilation really are "getting in love with this style". Watch to see the meaning of that and more.

    He had a big concert in NYC last year in December and I honestly was surprised of the amount of people that came to see him. The stadium was literally packed with people. Tbh he doesn't make the type of music that you would jam to or sing along, but it definitely deserves to be listened live at least once in your life. I'm genuinely fascinated by his voice and techniques, I don't think I ever heard a voice like his.

    No disrespect intended but Dimash isn't English, he isn't American etc etc etc so why do people want him to be more like American singers? he can hold his own doing what he's doing. He has released a pop song called Screaming which would probably be more to your taste.

    • @RenyxGhoul
      @RenyxGhoul 4 года назад +135

      Cheryl Wilson Roomie probably was thinking “if only Dimash was English or American then he would be as popular as Micheal Jackson, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury, collaborate with the famous Western artists and reach greater heights.” However I believe his voice will be pristine for many years to come so it is okay if he “becomes famous” later. I do hope his addition will at least make mainstream songs be less crude and mumble however.

    • @rian534
      @rian534 4 года назад +86

      I think you might be misinterpreting what people actually mean; since most singers make it big through the US industry people probably want Dimash to make it big too, and yeah, I know hes already big but hes not as well known as some singers in the US even though he is technically much better. Im all for his music now and I personally dislike american pop music, but I think Dimash would eat the market if he actually wanted to make it big in the US

      there's just the fact that Kazakh/Russian (and around there) music industry doesn't let people really develop their careers internationally.
      so people are kinda trapped in the concept and get a lot of restrictions. that's actually really sad - I get why people say that.

    • @ner0p
      @ner0p 4 года назад +38

      Absolutely. Not only that, comparing him to artists that dominate genres and audiences that don't overlap is completely disingenuous.
      This guy, at 25 years old, has sung alongside Lara Fabian and Andrea Bocelli. The US is the epicenter of pop music, this isn't pop music and the US doesn't have relevant market for it using the same metric. I've heard one song from his "id" album called "Screaming" and it sounded very bland and underwhelming, mostly due to the nature of that generic pop formula which became so famous and saturated.

    Another reason why it is not so popular in the world is the lack of a producer. Producers in America can at least promote a homeless person . In 2017, Dimash was offered cooperation by Walter Afanasiev himself, but Dimash categorically refused. He has a fairly free contract with the Chinese and has been in China for the last three years. His videos are gaining huge views in Weibo. And now Dimash can be seen more in Russia, recently there were his solo concerts in Latvia, Ukraine, new York, Russia and everywhere sold out, despite the complete lack of advertising. Its popularity is growing every day. And after all, he is not just standing and singing, he is just the king of the stage, dancing, lighting up

      Who follows Dimash know he doesn't need lipsync and usually refuses lipsync. The singer 2017 performances are all 100% live, because it's forbidden to lipsync in this competition. That's proof enough to me. In his tours, he sings the songs mostly different in every town he is. And it depends on the size of the hall, the equipment and how many songs he performed, if he is tired and other stuff, how it sounds. We don't know, if he is kind of forced sometimes, because of the rules in certain TV events. The important thing is, that he definetly can sing live !!! Greetings 💕

      @@ruka_bm although most of the songs he sings at concerts are love, he apparently doesn't usually sing Love of Tired Swans, Olympico, etc other songs made by Krutoy live. Those songs feel like they're studio recorded and if you combine the right concert versions, they're 100% identical.
      He honestly might just be THAT good but knowing that he rarely uses much of his low voice outside of Krutoys music, it's just super suspicious. His true low voice (like when he sang at Know at Victoria awards and evening urgant show, where pretty much everyone agrees that he sang live) seems pretty different from the extremely stable voice he sings with in Love of tired swans (just as an example).

    Hey Roomie...You are suggesting that Dimash conform more to western music and standards, but please consider that the U.S. has about 327 million people who are just starting to hear Dimash. Dimash has had 20 years of music education and he marches to his own drummer, performing for and winning multiple awards from cultures on the other side of the world. He is HIGHLY popular in China (1.5 billion people alone), plus Russian and his own country of Kazakhstan. Dimash now has over 112 fan clubs all over the world. His social media following is over 11M. Dimash is one-of-a-kind, and has gained an unfathomable following. Give the U S a chance. 19,000 people packed the Barkley Center in NY this past December for Dimash’s first Solo concert in U S. Attendees were from almost all states, as well as from several dozen other countries. Thank you for taking the time to introduce Dimash to your followers. Peace.

    Dimash is just amazing! Those switches from a very high powerful belt to a very high head voice with no cracks between always blow my mind, it's not an easy thing to do at all, specially because he is a man! And what can I say about the D8? More than a year being a Dear and still that D8 gets me unprepared. The thing that I love most though is that he is not only about the high notes, the emotion and interpretation is a genius work. He has more pop songs you might like to listen to, with more lower notes and more emotion rather than just technique. That's the beauty of Dimash, he knows this very well and he knows how to do it. Several songs have an amazing build up. Amazing, simply amazing ❤️

He is not comparable to any singer or performer anywhere. Not only is he the greatest vocalist on the planet, he is also a tremendous story teller.
