It's all excitement here! Wanting to capitalise on the peak house-selling selling season while it lasts, I decided to get a move on with the house selling arrangements, and found that things went even quicker than I expected!
Izzy had a trip to the eye clinic and I (Imo) had a gig.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We love getting out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.

Catching up on your videos! I've been out in the US and Canada for a month and haven't had much time to sit and watch through. Although I think I did watch one of your videos one evening while feeling dead in a motel room after a day of hiking over 20 miles in Yosemite National Park - but was much too tired to leave any comment! I know - too long for me. I like to move often and have that excitement of exploring a new environment. I moved a lot more frequently before having Izzy, then I got myself stuck in a rut as a single parent. She's 13 now though! I want to find somewhere that suits her better. x

Very nice vlog & a nice gig. Apparently there used to be a Mark & Spencer's here at the mall but it closed down. The girl's have some stuff from that store & congrats on the house being for sale

We’ve never sold a house before, so we can only imagine how intense that must be 😲 and all that blue tack, you’ll have a mountain of it if you manage to get it all off 😂

Ha ha ha! Oh, that was Roger's cider. I'm not a fan of cider - too acidic for my liking. I prefer beer. What's your favourite drink?

The 2 times we sold our houses I found to be one of the most stressful events...not so much of getting rid of stuff but trying to keep it looking like looking show room ready lol Thank God they sold fairly quickly :) Glad Izzy's eyes are better. What city are you in? It looks so pretty :)
Hello Melody! Everyone keeps telling me how stressful this will be. Oh no! I can't believe how much stuff I've got rid of, and yet how much more keeps coming! It's endless! I was in Cardiff City in the evening. It's the capital city of Wales. x

It was pretty noisy. They often are. This lot were young and excitable. Thanks - this decluttering lark could take a while!
Ah, yes. The timeless elegance of fluorescein orange. I put a few of those drops into eyes in my time in the ER (A&E). Glad Izzy's eyes are OK. I poked an IV spike into one of mine once while moving fast during an emergency and that bad boy hurt steadily (note key adverb: steadily) for five days until that cornea re-epithelialized. Nice hanging baskets. I used to have a bunch of hanging baskets of fuschia around the place. Very pleasant. Pretty. I can't even wrap my brain about having to sell-up and move.
Yeouch. That sounds extremely painful!! That eye injury sounds horrific! Did you get any lasting damage?
No, thank the Lord. I had to wear an eye patch for five days which made intubating tracheas a bit interesting because of no depth perception (also starting IVs), but I could not put Neosporin ophthalmic ointment in either to help with the pain as that delays re-epithelialization and ditto any local anesthetic drops.
Yeouch. I'm going to google that long word you used now....

I think you are referring to the infamous -- re-epithelialization. It is process whereby the cornea re-establishes its proper surface by having new cells migrate in from the margins and cover up and make "new" and good the corneal surface so one can see without foggy stuff.

I keep my location quiet on YT so I won’t be revealing my precise location, but there’s a distinct possibility I’ll be having a buffer for a few weeks at my boyfriend’s place if my house sells quicker than I can find somewhere else. Haha I have a mouth harp. It's loads of fun but hurts my teeth after awhile. I really want to learn harmonica playing other than those we get as kids.
Ha ha ha! You're not supposed to bang it on your teeth! 😂 Maybe try opening your mouth a bit more. I've found that blowing through it raises the volume. Did you find that?

I had to go to an eye hospital in London. Turns out it was a blocked tear duct. I didn’t even know eye hospitals were a thing.
Oh, I didn't know they had them just for eyes. I've heard of ENT hospitals - Ear, Nose and Throat! I had my tonsils out in one as a child.
What a noisy bunch in that gig! How could they hear the music or instruction?

I think tap and go via phone will become more common for giving strangers a couple of dollars as carrying cash becomes even less common.

Yes - that's a really good idea. I've been doing the same thing for about a year and a half - aiming for one full charity bag a week. I don't know where it's all coming from! I'm a sucker for donations is the thing and then feel obliged to hang on to things. Moving is a great conscience-free way to off load!
