there is no need of this at all. just slowly tranfer her from bottle to staw cup aur a glass of milk. first try this day time. then once u succeed in day time. if she wants bottle in night give her milk in glass in the nights aswell. as she will grow her number of feed in night will automatically decrease.
My kids and grandchildren had milkin the bottle till they were 4 and 5 yrs ( my mom and mother in law wouldn’t let me .) All are ok and have grown well .
First introduce her to straw sipper to drink water...please dont let her cry..as she will grow she will wean off bottle..my baby is also 17mnth old..she is also bottle feeding.. Mene bhi youtube k videos dekh k wean off krna chaha..but she was also fussy and irritated like ishlu ...so rather than weaning off completely i only give her bottle two times..in afternoon and at night before sleep.. and sometimes in midnight for once.
Also, stop her formula. When babies move onto solids they are getting that nutrition through food, they don't need formula. Formula milk is for poor eaters who don't eat well atleast get the nutrition from formula. Give her normal boiled Milk twice a day, that's it. At night give dal Chawal, so they sleep well. Sorry for the gyan, but I have been through this exactly with my older one in Sydney, with no help and it was a nightmare for me.
What does it matters if baby likes to drink in a feeder bottle for another 1 year? anyways she's still too small baby, let her enjoy her baby days, pls don't make her to cry. Slowly slowly she will make a habbit to skip that feeder bottle only patience is required.
Drinking in a bottle affects the growth of the teeth’s. Believe me my son had to have 4 teeth removed as his teeth did not grow straight as he was still having a bottle after the age of 3 and his dummy till 4. It’s was a struggle to stop him!

Really don't understand why she needs to go thru this. I never forced my son for anything. I changed things when he was ready. Every child is different. You can't follow fixed rules. Please give her some time. Keep some cute, fancy cups, sippers, straws on the table. She will ask for it herself. Maybe first try giving her water or juice in the sipper so she gets used to it. Try any of these.like first keep both bottle and sipper together.but fill bottle with more of water and milk( thin milk) and in sipper proper milk.. secondly whenever she ask fr milk,give her her favourite snack to distract her.. thirdly after few days cut the top part of nipple ,so tht when she starts to drink,she can't ..and she will take sipper..

Please let all these milestones by child-led. There is nothing wrong if the child has her bottle for a few extra months; or if she is potty trained a little late. Please do not set these unreasonable goals for yourself and the child. By the age of 5, every child is trained, knows alphabets, numbers, eats food, etc etc etc..

Small size steel glasses are available in mkt for babies.. different colouurs, some like rattle... do get them. Give her one sip from that also and Ultima she'll enjoy it more than sippy cup. Because after sometime also you have to leave sippy cup also.
But pediatrician never ask u to put ur baby on bottle, I have two pediatricians and they both asked me not to put ur baby on bottle feed instead of that katori chammach se do but bottle feed mt karna..now my baby is 5 months old i did not introduce him bottle..even my pediatrician ask me to give him a small steel glass but i still didn't introduce him glass also..i give my breastmilk only on his demand.. between 2-3 hours..if we do don't introduce such things to them they will be on depend on such things..trust urself and ur breastmilk.
Don't force kids to leave feeders else they will leave milk also...my personal experience ( mom of 4).. Now a days we get very good brand feeders which are safe for the baby if given 2-3 times a day . Gradually they leave when they are on total solids

I am not in favor of sippy cup instead of bottles. Babies discontinue milk when u start sippy cup. I am in favor of bottles up to 5 yrs. That’s what I did with my 1st kid and now with my toddler. If they don’t eat properly you can give them milk bottles at night or day time . Love from USA
We did this to make my son leave his pacifier when he was 1.5 yrs old. With bottle I didn't hv problem bcz once when we visited our hometown in kanpur he didn't liked the milk taste there and with that in a 5-6 days he left bottle and we started giving him milk in glass .1.5 yrs old)
As a mother I would highly suggest you not to force her to leave bottle. She will eventually leave all kids leave so please don’t be hard on her and on yourself also. If you forcefully do this she might leave her milk intake also this is very common to happen! I have not seen any 7-8 months old without bottle, kids take bottle till 3-4 y also which is absolutely fine.
Shilpa ji please please take care that Ishu doesn’t go in the balcony alone. I think you live on a higher floor and there is glass instead of an actual brick wall. Please consider getting a net fixed for safely.

Absolutely correct.there is no rule for weaning..when the baby starts showing signs..that the perfect time..

Just hide all the bottles, show her different sippers or small glasses. Trust me, 2-3 days are difficult.
My daughter is 3 and recently weaned off the bottle. Wasnt difficult at this age as she understands the consequence when we communicate.
Tje same will happen with me when I will try to wean off her breastmilk.. Im just avoiding it for now🙈

Hello dears im from Andhra Pradesh Vijayawada.Please get ishu get used to tiny tumbler i mean a steel glass of small size thats how i started for both my kids. U can stop both the bottle and sipper too. I agree its time taking may be she will get used to it within 3 to 4 days time. Nothing to worry shilpa ji 😊😊

Start diluting milk.... First 3/4 milk +1/4 water... For 15 days... In tumbler give pure milk... Slowly she will start noticing change in taste..

I'm just wondering why she needs milk at all? After one year babies don't need milk. Maybe just wean her completely off milk/formula.
