I just started learning about Glycogen stores in the muscles, and how it lessens with age. Which is insane to think about when thinking of strength and the amount of energy storage is needed for strongman, you young men really are superhuman

For people who aren't familiar... The longest I've sat in 34-f water was 3 minutes, and I wanted OUT. My brain was reacting way differently versus a warmer setup... Seriously, it is SO much harder than say 43 degrees F, which I can manage for 5-10+ mins pretty easily. Tom and Luke are moving around quite a bit, and their new tub might be circulating water too, which means they can't keep much of a thermal layer to make it easier either. If that tub is near 0 C, then it is certified brutal. Have fun boys! Wish I could join you, I'm a tall fellow myself.
