Yup I have been to some of their performances here in the US and the videos never even come close to doing justice to the experience of actually being there.
Sure it fails in this regard. It's a smartphone recording, taken by a noob 😅. This song was the first I found from "The Warning", after I watched a video "Lzzy Hale talks about the Warning", so I tried to record it. 🤘

Pau's vocals have always been an issue live. The drums and cymbals, especially the way she goes after them, bleed through the vocal mike so hard that there is a limit to how much they can turn it up. It has gotten better since Lalo took over the live soundboard though.
Sadly Pau was completely out of the spotlights. Do we have to worry about her eyesight? She is often wearing sunglasses in closed rooms. In Cologne she was operating completely in the dark and was only visible when she stepped forward to thank the crowd.
@@georgrittel4243 I see what you mean. Someone posted a really good quality photo of the stage when it was lit by red lights and Pau is in the dark. I think it's just poor lighting from the venue rather than something Pau wanted though.

The recording fails to transport the heavy sound there was. Massive bass and drums. I was there. I can tell.

Yes, Pau was barely audible. But at least her "scream of destruction" during Evolve came across well, imho. :D

I worry about their voices holding out. Especially Dany. They hardly rest.
