It is important that there is no spaces between the asterisk and what you have to type or it won't work. Just a note. Thanks for the fix. It was driving me crazy.
That prompt is normally for safe-boot mode. I believe it is intended to be a sort of work around for when your pc is getting stuck in "repairing drive loop." Actually, not sure if that is the reason, but it is what I use it for.

But can you tell what is the exact problem behind this so we can aware that this wasn't any disease of PC and this method is just a painkiller and real problem is still there?

Its a great video, only problem is, you should do this for s short term solution. That message popping up means either your drive is reaching the end of its life or it is actually damaged. From that drive you might experience missing documents or videos or even pictures, so be sure to actually get it checked out. Usually if you go to a pc repair shop they can move all the data onto a pendrive or if you opt for it, move everything onto a new drive which is a bit more costly unless you supply your own drive.

The only reason it comes up is because you have files corrupt in your drive, this dosent fix it it just silenced the message
Absolutely. You can manually run the chkdsk command to check if there are any bad sectors on the disk.

Ur storage(ssd/hdd) had issue.
If your pc running using HDD I recommend to change it to SSD
Try scanning for viruses because they are the culprit most of the time. Also check if any background apps are eating your RAM. Disable useless start-up programs.

thank you so much i just updated to windows 11 then i had some booting issues where i had to turn my computer off a few time before it would properly boot and so i went back to windows 10 and ever since i had that coming up when i booted and it is now fixed

So that's just disabling the disk checking but not fixing why it does in the first place...
This basically happens if there are bad sectors on your disk. You can run the chkdsk command from your command prompt to fix it, provided that your hdd is still good.

Even though I used this trick but now my laptop takes more time to start. I think it is still checking it in background.
No, the checking is simply skipped
ive the same problem and then when my desktop starts the taskbar is stuck at loading

I mean it works but if that is happening everytime you turn it on you shouldnt ignore it. In worse case it can mean that the hard drive or SSD isnt working correctly the common reason is often by malware infection or you didnt turn off the pc right but i dont really know how to solve it without disable it but i would not disable it tho

@@mihirkansra in the worst case you need to buy a new disc you can disable it if you want but i wouldnt. Im not relly sure i think you can get rid of it if you reboot the pc but if your hard drive is damaged i should not work but i wouldnt recomend that either because if it didnt work you have wasted your time and lost all your stuff
A single corrupt sector can also trigger this message. So, most of the times there is nothing to worry. Alternatively, you can also run the CHKDSK command in command prompt.
@@TECHSTROLOGER I ran chkdsk and it returned no error found. But when I tried chkdsk C: /f /r, it returned error "failed to transfer logged messages to the event with status 6"

Explain why we got this problem
It means there is some problem in your disk. It may be a fragmentation issue or a bad sector.
Does it have any permanent solution?
