Something I just realized as well about the Alikred/Delkira... Knowing L and R are interchangeable in Japanese, technically speaking, for purposes of romanization, Alikred(Arikled) is possible to be seen as Delkira(Or Derkila). My understanding of Japanese is minimal at best, so correct me if wrong or inaccurate on that point, but if true I just think its a fair bit of so in your face you never realize it foreshadowing.
Delkira has been gone for a few hundred years, it is just as much possible that Delkira had a human wife had children and Iruma is simply a descendant... with very diluted demon blood. But since he is a descendant of Delkira and Arikled is with him, Arikled seriously boosts his innate abilities and his powers.
You forgot that Sullivan was very happy that Iruma wanted to know more about becoming the demon king. He ofcourse wants him to become the demon king but didn't want to force him, so he was very relieved that he seemed at least 'interested'
i think you're forgetting that the evil cycle was artificially induced by alikred the ring spirit, which might explain why iruma's evil cycle is different (in addition to him being human), and for the wings, the demonic nature of the mana used might explain why he has wings that pop out. i don't say throw your whole theory out the window, but maybe these elements (at least the evil cycle one) might not be relevant to this theory.
I didn't forget that, I brought that up in the video. the points you make are certainly valid but I personally feel it's a little... too obvious? This theory is something I came up with that's in keeping with the new tone of the manga, thanks for watching either way! love to see people come up with what they personally believe and shows how amazing Iruma-kun is as a series
Maybe at the beginning of the story Iruma was fully human, but once he got the ring it allowed Derkila’s mana to inhabit Iruma and alter his dna to give him both human and demon abilities. Maybe as Iruma continues to rank up and grow stronger he’ll be able to control more of Derkila’s mana and will eventually become one and the same. There’s also a theory that Iruma is the incarnation of Derkila, which is also interesting to think about. One thing that is for certain and can’t be debunked, is Iruma is connected to Derkila in some way or another.
I'm not sure if he's half demon, or a human implanted with demon dna or whatever, but we do have so, sooo many things pointing to some sort of connection to the previous demon king. He could be him, some sort of reincarnation, implanted with his dna, his kid, the ring could be as explained in the video, chosen by him, etc. but nothing short of it being explicitly explained that there is no connection whatsoever would surprise me at this point. Sulivan at minimum knows more than he's letting on.
Spoilers below: Maybe it is due to the translated versions of the manga and anime I've seen, but Iruma is 100% human physically. Even the "narrator" says he is human in multiple situations that revolve around his humanity. Then you have all the other things that other people had pointed out like: 1. The Forbidden spell could have been enchanted / the paper on it was imbued with magic for it to activate. Kind of like how in some games magic items can be used somewhat by people without any form of magic within them. The ring has also been filled with Solomon's energy and it allows Iruma to do magic. It could have also chosen Iruma because it sensed Iruma's soul or the fact he is a human. 2. The situation with him getting a familiar points to him being human. Every other demon was able to use Kalego's seal and get their own creatures, but Iruma summoned him the first time. The second time when they did the ritual, it switched from "summon the demon the seal is connected to" to "summon the closest demon" which happened to be Kalego again (thanks to Opera and Balam.) Had he been any part demon, it should have summoned something else instead of the teacher. 3. The fact he needs to use perfume to mask his human smell is still a big thing. Part demon should not require a strong enough perfume to hide the human side. His blood allowing for healing of demons and other growing abilities could be due in part that a human in the demon world would be akin to a unicorn or a demon in the human world (i.e. a mythological creature). 4. The appetite and dodging skills were explained early in the series where he had to learn to survive on his own since his parents barely took care of him. Him seeming more confident while using magic comes from all the practice he had to do to obtain the skills required alongside tweaking his dodging skill (when they had to play dodgeball and he needed to learn how to catch instead of just dodge). So physically, he is human but he could be a reincarnation of Delkira's soul while Arikled is the powers and potential memories of Delkira. As others point out, he gains more as the ranks go up so the closer Iruma gets to the top, the more he will remember. Maybe he will be imbued with demonic energy at a later date, or he stays human and lives in the demon world (possibly ruling over them).
Honestly a really good comment, this theory is more if he's partially demon? Like more of an experiment that didn't really work on Iruma but this comment really proves that he is human physically

Anyway he went to human world and put some of his demonic power into a ring. Why he went to human world, who knows but i will say it was probably a human he grew to care for that drew him there long term. Once there i think 1 of 2 things happened. A.) His demonic powers and state were sealed by humans (trap or by choice who knows) B.) He stayed there until he died and had a child (who with him being part demon would be mostly human) if that child then had a child the result could be iruma. So a part demon with so little demon influence that he seems and is usually all human. (Only inhuman things about him are the random wings during extreme release of mana, his eyes going slitted when he is stressed, and the fact he can enter an artificial evil cycle) I also think demon king derkila was killed by the group trying to resurrect him. For one, why would they assume him dead considering he was said to be the most powerful and no one would dare harm him? But if like i speculate he sealed some of his power in the ring itself then he would have been weaker. that is more surmised than confirmed, could 100% be the case as to why Iruma could use it but I do feel as if even without that there's enough proof to backup this theory. no matter what Iruma 'is' I'm sure it'll be amazing.
Knowing how insane the mangaka is for foreshadowing, him being part demon is definately on the table but I don't see the possibility of him being a test-tube creation, at least not by Baal.
#1 like Yusuke Urameshi Iruma is a descendant of Derkilla, and once he reaches the 10th ranked the Ring of Solomon will fuse with him and make him a full-fledged demon. #2 he simply Derkilla's half demon child, with his mother basically imagine an older version of Iruma's crossdresser form Irumi, the parents he thought he knew were just an illusion created by Derkilla to make his life miserable so he would not have any attachments to the human world. #3 Iruma is Derkilla, basically he turned himself into a human child will changing his memories and storing all his Mana into the Ring of Solomon and then escaping to the human world, basically his parents never existed and they we're just fake, he did this so he could change and become a brand new Demon King.
I don’t think he was manufactured in a test tube by Bal. I mean after the harvest festival, Bal seemed surprised by the fact that Iruma was human. So maybe there he is just a human who is starting to receive more demon DNA.
Nah, im not really believe any theories or speculation about Iruma. I will just sit right here to wait for Osamu Nishi to tell me by himself. Great video btw
I think it sounds indeed fair. I remember a part on the manga where barbatos is searching for all the relic of Delkila. Maybe he's searching for the remnants of Derkila's mana. One of the relic is apparently at the habds of the crazy glasses guy who wants to eat Iruma. I forgot about the relic but i think it was a choker necklace that the crazy guy wears as he himself said that he possess one of Delkira's relic item.
I'd like to theorize that Iruma is part demon with Derkila's bloodline in him. I think Derkila sealed away his powers in the ring, hid the ring, and wrote the prophecy for any descendent of his that Sullivan would choose to bring back. Idk about the whole experimentation thing, so I'll just ignore that for now. I think Sullivan legitimately wanted a grandson and he was probably keeping track of Derkila's movements in the human world and that's how he knows about Iruma and brought him back to become the demon king if he so chooses. Idk about Derkila dying. If he did, I think he handled all of this preparation in advance and he probably sealed himself away in the ring, rather than just his mana. If we're going the reincarnation route, maybe Derkila lost all memories and powers as he was reincarnated as Iruma in human form and the ring recognized him. And maybe someone else wrote the prophecy. That's my second theory. I just don't like the idea of Iruma being an artificial demon. It would leave me feeling strange because I love the show (and wouldn't stop watching just for that) but just know his power isn't his own makes it feel disingenuous and like he was a pawn or something. It'd be best if he had his own magic, like he told Sullivan
before i even watched this, i ran into the kitchen looking for a pen and paper, i put down alcerid's name and put it backwards and it actually spelled derkila, thats when i knew or thought that he could actually be the former demon king p.s. i binged watched welcome to demon school iruma until season 2 before watching this, im going back to binge watching it right now, bye love the video and theory btw
@@RyHoppointeresting to see a video on the person who most likely is going the right hand man of iruma when he going to become king are you going to a video on clara and ameri?
This makes sense because the mana that the demon king gave him was used to feed the ring that awakened the spirit. And evil cycle iruma is when he takes over his body.
The mana that Sullivan had received from the demon king or always had im not sure but the point is the demon king spirit is in the ring @@saxophonegeneral7118
My theory on Iruma being able to use forbidden magic is that forbidden magic uses environmental mana. Its bad because if you say it wrong you can't stop the faulty outcome because it isn't your mana.
Just a thought but could Derkila of visited the human realm and placed or hide six of his rings there so that one day when a high ranked demon is worthy enough to look for them and when that demon gets the six rings they are automatically the next demon king. Just that with Opera saying to enter the human realm you need a high rank. If Iruma gets a high enough rank to enter the human realm and the demon border patrol find out he is human they would have no choice but to send him back. And if Iruma does get sent back he could look for the six rings. Its a long shot of what I have just thought of.
I think he is a descendant of the previous demon king who disappeared, I think he traveled to the human world fell in love and Iruma is his descendant.
There is no merits in sending Iruma back to human world, if he were a failed experiment object that is, knowing Baal he would somehow use Iruma to cause some kind of an up roar.
I have a theory as in anime balam said because of the harsh environment in netherworld they get wings and tails but humans must live in a peaceful environment that's why they don't have tails , wings and horns and iruma is in netherworld right now so does his body will also adapt to the netherworld environment and grows tails horns, and wings
It could be that iruma have some DNA or parts of derkila inside him (an experiment maybe). And that's why he could resonate with derkila mana and so compatible with it
I believe Iruma his entirely human and was selected by Derkula before he "vanished" (Sealed himself in the ring awaiting Iruma's Arrival) to be the "Ring of Soloman" and grant Iruma guidance on being the demon king. I don't have a solid reason for why he would do this but its personally my favorite theory. I also think he was choiced because of how terrible is parents where. He had loads of experience dealing with selfish and self serving beings so he would acclimate to demon society fairly easily
I think iruma is child of delkira bcz when sullivan visited delkira. He said he was too bored. So he must had gone to human world for to find a way to kill his boredom. There he had met iruma's mom. And maybe the parents shown were not really iruma's parents that's why they treated him like that
Another theory is what if iruma being one of the descendents of demon king bloodline in secret .Due to the long generation gap he has little portion of demon blood but still possessing the demon king's traces because of demon king's desendents being in human world no trace of derkila was found so no one was able to get the ring and sullivan knows it. That's the reason behind adoption of a human child and it completely answer the question back in Ep 1( discussion allowed)
You know ever since the episode where he grew the wings in the first place before the reveal of the ring having a sentence Manifestation, I assumed he was somehow related to the demon race. After. All humans can't grow wings
There's Iruma mafia spin-off, where it's canon that there's no demons. Iruma still has his evasion powers though, so I don't think that piece of evidence is really strong.
Honestly my theory is a human that came to the Demon World and was escorted out it's probably Sullivan's lover because how did Irma's family get his Crest to be able to summon him into the human world with it being given to them by family that has met him in the past
I don't know if he's part demon but my concerns are. 1. Why Sullivan came to human realm when it was forbidden. 2. Most demons think humans are myths indicating it's almost never done or heard of. 3. Sullivan buying iruma was no coincidence rather pre-planned. Buying human just to adopt him as grandson is too ridiculous. 4. How does amari has that huge collection of manga.
I know I'm late to comment on this video, he is a reincarnation of the missing demon king, also why iruma adapted grand father choice him because he is the reincarnation of the missing demon king like what the series stated he can adapted any demon he wants but why he wanted iruma because he knows he his reincarnation of the missing demon king.
yep, i think this is also possible that iruma's an actual half devil and human, but his human genetics is much stronger, maybe like he was linked to some old demon who got out of hell and tried to mingle with human, maybe the real reason his parents are always out is because both of them were demons and was tasked to take care of iruma in the human world? like how did sullyvan proposed a deal/contract to his parents and his parents just accept it readily without any questions, also the fact that the author of the series didnt discuss much about his parents screams more questions, also his parents who are so lazy and happy go lucky attitude reminds me of the demon general that trained the thief and knowledge duo
There is a theory that irama isn't fully human it's never been confirmed but there are clues that he may not be it could be the derkuila soul inside of him but how does his blood heal and make plants grow its very odd . He also was able to chant a forbidden spell so I am not sure but its possible
If iruma friends discovers he part demon they probably treat him like actual Demon and there are evidence he’s a Demon given he grows wing when in super Saiyan mode
Let's not forget he also has the amazing Ability to change his genser at Will Because Once he puts the Akudol Make Up & Dress, SHE IS 100% FEMALE & that'a a Fact😍
And so weird if you thinking about the beginning how did chair demon know iruma in human world and why iruma parent do not care about iruma at all and also I think iruma is delkira and they seal iruma power and use a ring instead
Im pretty sure he is Human.. but will turn into Demon. Imo all demons were humans, and turned into what they are coz they lived in the demon world filled with magick. Every time he is doing power surge he turns into a demon (like suddenly sporting huge wings, even if those werent part of spell)
My personal theory is Iruma is actually Sullivan’s great great grandson. Dekula could have snuck into the human world with Sulli finding him in order to bring him back. Dekula, not wanting to go back just yet got Sulli drunk, which resulted with a human woman. Decades later, Sulli feels himself being summoned to the human world by someone who shares his blood (this is how Iruma’s parents were able to summon Sulli in the first place). Upon seeing the living conditions of his great great grandson, Sulli offers his great grandchild money (the very late child support) in exchange for Iruma. At this time I don’t know Sulli’s age, so this order of events makes sense to me. This is why I reason Sulli told Iruma to call him grandpa instead of dad after he was adopted. I also believe that Sulli’s ability to manipulate time is his bloodline magic. Iruma doesn’t have enough demon blood in him to knowingly activate this magic however he has instinctually adapted it into his insane dodging abilities as he is unconsciously manipulating time just enough so he can get out of the way.
There is lots of explanations that make Iruma being pure human.if he's not pure human then his and Amari's child wouldn't be the symbol of the unification of the two worlds. Narratively him choosing to be a demon rather than being half-half makes more sense. It's about choice not nature, that's the whole thing about changing the demon world contra Baal. So, sorry can't agree. But still love the content.
Bro he's the missing Demon King he has to get all seven rings 777 if we're talking about demons seven is the key he has to get seven rings he only has one in the second season they were talking about it look at it here when he turns into his demon mode his hair is the same color as the previous Demon King
you dont get the Iruma is Delkira theory, the theory is not per say that he is his child or anything genetic like that, but rather that Delkira incarnated into the human world and is now the individual we call Iruma(kinda like Jesus is the incarnation of god in Christianity). As far as what does it mean to be the incarnation of Delkira ill leave that to others speculations.
@@RyHoppo No, I mean you brought it up in 1:25 with "its cool to imagine he is Delkira's baby" when actually its just one word wrong as far as that theory is concerned, I probably could have worded it better anyway, so sorry if it came confrontational

Ps the jars in sillvan kitchen is the evil engery that attacks the spider demon durlika put a curse thon him its been said that is suillvan evil cycle its a theory someone on chat made the creator only confirmed that the substance in the jars in the kitchen are the same as the thing that attacks the demon spider
Okay . . . . Some parts sound feasible but, really dude, this is a *bit* far-fetched. Being a reject of Baal's experiments is a bit out there, even for me. It's borderline conspiracy theory-ish without much proof. Still, I give you an A for effort which means a thumbs-up and a subscribe from me. 👍 Plus, if you read the manga, a lot of what you theorize is much harder to swallow (I'm on chapter 305 so far).
My main reasons for this theory are based on the recent chapters, of demons that aren't supposed to exist appearing well more their abilities specifically.(Behemoth) and Baal clearly planned the whole situation to appear as the hero, his experimentation could have been started on Iruma, obviously it's debatable and it is a theory and I love to hear different theories regarding Iruma! Thanks for the subscribe :)
I don't want to believe that iruma is a test subject Rather than that I belive iruma is the incarnation of derkila because in chapter 307 his grandfather said he can see derkila in him despite being opposite in nature Hence I think he is a incarnation

that is more surmised than confirmed, could 100% be the case as to why Iruma could use it but I do feel as if even without that there's enough proof to backup this theory. no matter what Iruma 'is' I'm sure it'll be amazing.
#3 Iruma is Derkilla, basically he turned himself into a human child will changing his memories and storing all his Mana into the Ring of Solomon and then escaping to the human world, basically his parents never existed and they we're just fake, he did this so he could change and become a brand new Demon King.
the scroll was enchanted by suliven, author confirmed.
Awesome video ! You will Become Famous one day , you have a lot of talent.
I'm not too sure about becoming famous 🤣but honestly thank you so much 🙏
Man I love anime I don't know what I would do if anime didn't exist thank you for making them
Aye I didn’t know you had a channel I though I knew this editing style
Oh hey, where do you know me from bro? 👋
I always thought he just the reborn demon king, but born in the human world.
Ohh kl theory/ video 😊🎉
Thank you for the video
Thank you for watching!
before i even watched this, i ran into the kitchen looking for a pen and paper, i put down alcerid's name and put it backwards and it actually spelled derkila, thats when i knew or thought that he could actually be the former demon king
p.s. i binged watched welcome to demon school iruma until season 2 before watching this, im going back to binge watching it right now, bye love the video and theory btw
good video are you going to do other videos on the other characters?
Yes! I actually plan to do a video on what Asmodeus' true bloodline magic is soon and start working on other anime too.
@@RyHoppointeresting to see a video on the person who most likely is going the right hand man of iruma when he going to become king are you going to a video on clara and ameri?
@@sueflewelling3657 possibly, I have a theory regarding Clara too and Ameri is one of my favourite characters
It kind of confirms it in manga ch 307 at the end you see Ali son sitting on the dresser, and he says " I will watch over you"
Honestly I was just scrolling down on yt until I scroll onto this.
And it made me want to binge read the manga and continue the anime.
Xd
sick video dude!! (tho i never watched this anime)
U talking about iruka earned a sub
This makes sense because the mana that the demon king gave him was used to feed the ring that awakened the spirit. And evil cycle iruma is when he takes over his body.
When does the demon king give him mana ??
The mana that Sullivan had received from the demon king or always had im not sure but the point is the demon king spirit is in the ring @@saxophonegeneral7118
This really makes sense (unlike other theories)
Nice video
My theory on Iruma being able to use forbidden magic is that forbidden magic uses environmental mana. Its bad because if you say it wrong you can't stop the faulty outcome because it isn't your mana.
I can't wait for the author to reveal Iruma's origin 😮😮😮. THE TRUTH ABOUT IRUMA & LORD DELKARA
can't there be a possibility that iruma mutated as he was in the demon realm for a period of time
I love this honestly.
I think Iruma is actually a younger version of the Demon Lord who regressed back to before he came to the human world.
I have a theory as in anime balam said because of the harsh environment in netherworld they get wings and tails but humans must live in a peaceful environment that's why they don't have tails , wings and horns and iruma is in netherworld right now so does his body will also adapt to the netherworld environment and grows tails horns, and wings
that would make sense, in more intense situations his mana draws them out of him
It could be that iruma have some DNA or parts of derkila inside him (an experiment maybe).
May be just may sullivan is raising iruma as a vessel for delkira...
I think iruma is child of delkira bcz when sullivan visited delkira. He said he was too bored. So he must had gone to human world for to find a way to kill his boredom. There he had met iruma's mom. And maybe the parents shown were not really iruma's parents that's why they treated him like that
Could u do a video on how strong jin mori from god of highschool 😅
If iruma is also harboring a sealed derkila then it makes it all make sense too. But thst seems too simple.
I hope the anime gets started again
Nice theory
Well he can be reincarnation of demon king himself
• Derkila = Alikred
• Dracula = Alucard
I haven't read this manga in ages
Another theory is what if iruma being one of the descendents of demon king bloodline in secret .Due to the long generation gap he has little portion of demon blood but still possessing the demon king's traces because of demon king's desendents being in human world no trace of derkila was found so no one was able to get the ring and sullivan knows it. That's the reason behind adoption of a human child and it completely answer the question back in
Ep 1( discussion allowed)
Well in ch 201 there is reference about iruma being a king maker
You know ever since the episode where he grew the wings in the first place before the reveal of the ring having a sentence Manifestation, I assumed he was somehow related to the demon race. After.
All humans can't grow wings
Next up
Sabro Sabnock the Bro. Best character and rival in the entire series
4. How does amari has that huge collection of manga.
oh man this super make sense
Off topic but, where do you read the manga? And after season 3, where do i start reading?
the manga harvest festival ends at 142 so I recommend reading from there 🙂
Well baal did said that he is the manifestation of demon lord Derkila .
I love this theory but I'm not sure how much I can buy it (I'm a manga reader too lol)
Whr do u get this mangaaa
Let's not forget he also has the amazing Ability to change his genser at Will
Because Once he puts the Akudol Make Up & Dress, SHE IS 100% FEMALE & that'a a Fact😍
And so weird if you thinking about the beginning how did chair demon know iruma in human world and why iruma parent do not care about iruma at all and also I think iruma is delkira and they seal iruma power and use a ring instead
Good theory but I personally don’t believe it, I’m still of the “he’s related to a demon through blood” theory whether that’s Sullivan or Delkira
Baal also knew Iruma was human even tho he supposedly has never met him nor has he ever interacted with someone that knows him
😮 what????
Is there a season 4?.(Just Asking)
Huml i guess iruma is gonna have the same lenage as yuuskue
Im pretty sure he is Human.. but will turn into Demon. Imo all demons were humans, and turned into what they are coz they lived in the demon world filled with magick. Every time he is doing power surge he turns into a demon (like suddenly sporting huge wings, even if those werent part of spell)
What am i missing here ? Ive watched all 3 seasons of the show. How many books are there ? Whos asmoteus ?
Which anime is this
Is this show on Crunchyroll
One is he have previous demon king's mana
you dont get the Iruma is Delkira theory, the theory is not per say that he is his child or anything genetic like that, but rather that Delkira incarnated into the human world and is now the individual we call Iruma(kinda like Jesus is the incarnation of god in Christianity).
As far as what does it mean to be the incarnation of Delkira ill leave that to others speculations.
I don't get...what theory? I'm not covering another persons theory this is my own that I thought of myself?
@@RyHoppo No, I mean you brought it up in 1:25 with "its cool to imagine he is Delkira's baby" when actually its just one word wrong as far as that theory is concerned, I probably could have worded it better anyway, so sorry if it came confrontational
@user-ze7hp2jf5x Yeah, that's more what I meant lol in the video, hence why I said 'or something' that's a more well-known theory. And it wasn't confrontational. I was just a little confused by what you said, either way thanks for watching!
i have a feeling this video is in english...
i dont think its very likely that he was engineered demon
Is the female tech his sister?
You know if he is a test tube hybrid his evil cycle is chemically regulated its not natural. Sullivan can't be king so he wises iruma to be king . Iruma isn't fully human some how .
You were actually all wrong because selvia. Explain demons magic born from imagination. Humans is one with imagination and emotion.
WHAT IN YHE YAOI HANDS????
Put a spoiler warning god dammit
Wait the netherwolrd have spider
Okay . . .
Plus, if you read the manga, a lot of what you theorize is much harder to swallow (I'm on chapter 305 so far).
You speak Pandora wrong because It’s Pan dora
I don't want to believe that iruma is a test subject
Rather than that I belive iruma is the incarnation of derkila because in chapter 307 his grandfather said he can see derkila in him despite being opposite in nature
Hence I think he is a incarnation
