Hi George! I have been following the video but when I get to the painting the sky, instead of it painting it black, it turns it into the checkboard background erasing the sky all together. Hope you can help! Thank you in advance!
When you erase something it removes it from that layer. If that layer has nothing behind it you will see the checkerboard pattern that represents transparency. Just put a layer behind your sky layer and fill that layer with black, or for something fancier put a picture there of a nice night sky with stars.
@@HTGGeorge I figured it out! I had to combine the masked layer to the copied background layer. Wish I could post the picture I am working on! Because I am stuck on a certain spot because it has people in it!
@@katelynhall2301 Working around people is always hard as that is what attracts viewers eyes, so they will be the most critical of a picture where the people are.
