In singing particularly words are sometimes different when pronounced to also enhance the performance and make it more interesting and it is also better for singers to pronounced especially closed vowel ones (e.g. kining, kinabuhi) those with letters i and e.
Why do they pronounce padayon as padayin? As well as other words with 'o', they're turning it to 'i'. Higayon → Higayin Kusog → Kasig Ayayayooo → Ayayayieee Why? It doesn't suit well with the language. UMC's version sounded better.
