Nice video. That unit does so much more than you covered. I have the 230 Zoom and the 600. I should sell both of them and get the 650 Zoom. They are great antenna analyzers, I'd never want to be without one. Barry, KU3X
FYI: I went to purchase the RigExpert AA-650 at Gigaparts and their site would not honor the HRCR 5% discount code. Cheap and kind of low for GigaParts to not validate your discount. After all, it is your video that made me want to buy it. For the time being, I have held up on making my purchase from them.
Thanks. Loved it. Now to learn what to do with all the information it provides. I'll have to take an afternoon to go thru the info and write things down, then perhaps I'll have proper questions to ask as far as to where I'm at and where I'd like to be. Thanks again.
I have a 55 and just ordered this 650! Waiting to see if the guy who is using my 55 accepts my offer to take it off my hands. Didn’t understand the spectrum well enough when I purchased the 55 but I edumacated now.
I've done the research anew ham should do, and there's just no comparison between a Nano VNA and a real analyzer like a RigExpert. My first Field Day experience bore that out.
I cant wait when I retake the tech and general license so I can just just play with a tm2a1, sota/pota, altoids qrp cw radio, hf, slowscan tv and winlink.
these are extremely overpriced. they're just taking advantage of the ham market. get a nano vna for 100 bucks and do so much more. 600 for ONLY an antenna analyzer that ONLY goes to 30mhz? pffft ya right.... they're insane. people need to stop enabling companies like this and refuse to buy.... edit: oh it goes to 650 mhz sorry, nano vna still goes to 3ghz
You should read the specs its under $250 for the aa35 and as I said, Chang does very little for the accuracy in the nanovna and if you haven't used one yet please get one and see how you have to change loads to calibrate and checkout the screen in the sun on the VNA, the rigexpert line is not for those who don't have money to buy an accurate quality analyzer with a current support knowledge base compared to some Amazon seller that knows nothing about it. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the explanation. To think for 40 years we only had swr meters showing foward and refected power. The AA35 is amazing

Same. Code did nothing.
Same here....they would not honor the discount code.

Is there much difference betwen the 650 and the RigExpert Stick Pro?
BTW, missed seeing you at Huntsville this year.
Wondering the same. They seem to be very similar except for the screen size.
Well done!
Nice
do any of the rig experts have a DTF function?
Given that these analyzers are made in Ukraine I wonder how much longer they’re going to be available!
As well as quality.
