San Diego State University students stage walkout, call to divest from Israel

- Hundreds of San Diego State University students supporting Palestinians in the Gaza Strip walked out of class and into a rally, where they were met by a group of counter-protesters. KPBS Education Reporter M.G. Perez was there and has more on the confrontation.
It is truly hard to describe the feeling of pain, oppression, and betrayal that we Palestinian Christians feel from the Christian world and the Christian church in the west.
I'd like to address the characterization of the on-going occupation in Palestine as a "war just between Hamas and Israel." This label doesn't accurately depict the reality, as this has been an ongoing struggle for all Palestinians, including us The Palestinian Christians, spanning over 75 years.
As a Palestinian Christian I address the Christian world, which carries the Bible and the Cross of our Lord and our savior Jesus Christ, and I say to them please don't just pray for peace rather, pray for an end to the Israeli occupation, injustice, and oppression that we Palestinians have been living with for 75 years including us The Palestinian Christians.
I'm sorry that is happening to you, but the truth is they don't care if you are a Christian palastinian or a muslim palastinian, you are still palastinian and they will treat them all the same.

How can those supposed representatives allow those external issues to intrude then impose upon, endanger, violate, & harm innocent uninvolved citizens? None of that is my business & should remain remote, yet they have violated & harmed me.
That's another foreign government, commit apartheid & wage conflict with another belligerent, yet somehow USA want indulge & exploit but has seemingly externalized not only abuse, harm, & human right violations with atrocity that get coverup, obfuscate, obstruct, & retaliate happening in USA. Bias, discrimination, prejudice, & racist-motivated hate & outright evil people have inflicted injury upon me, an honorable US Navy retiree & deserving veteran, but endured physical assault & battery, sexual assault & rape, abduction, torture, persecution, terrorism by any definition, yet no protection, support, or representation, so consider that treatment & worse endured that have been imposed upon me by USA amid the illegal alien invasion indulgences & the externalization of responsibility, respect, & representation. Among else been chisel, heist, betrayal, treasonous, intrusive, violates, undeservedly imposes upon, endangers, & harms uninvolved innocent people in USA... because of the deliberately devised & imposed disparity, undeserved indulgence, malfeasance, ethical dilemma, immorality, institutional deterioration, systematic injustice, & systemic corruption amid Veteran Exploitation Industrial Complex. Devise & commit awful acts amid the USA, then impose that ... honor, domestic tranquility, provide weilfare, & wellness for deserving citizens aren't value or priority. When injured & nearly killed as many times that I've endured, then they violated Constitution so aware these are outright evil people not faithful to USA but intrude, invade, exploit, devise, & impose aberrant policy for indulge & oppress except already already disregard & disrespect, blatantly harm & willful violate then suppress investigate, inhibit report, dysfunctional & dangerous.
Most students suppor Palestyine and justice!!!!

I heard that the animals at the San Diego zoo are organizing a walk in support of Israel. They like the idea of democracy with its emphasis on freedom and liberty and the right to free speech.They stand with Israel.

Go to Israel and Gaza stay there for a month or more and from there you make judgement,don’t just go protest being ignorant!

Supporting Palestine is not antisemitism. It’s the right for Palestine to seek survival and safety, the basic human needs.
I agree a ceasefire should happen when peace will be met. At least they're being peaceful though so far, from what I've been told...

I think Israel is totally fine with their pursuit of hamas. And I'm glad we ae allies. I've been there and have total respect for their democracy. And no, no way do I support the people who attacked on that oct day. No way I support those who took children and grandmothers hostage.
