The idea of making a smaller sports sedan is great and the design ended up to be astonishing! The marketing however wasn't that great. In order to sell more units they cut corners. Lots of plastic in entry level versions. They were supposed to build a Ferrari sports sedan but ended up selling a cheap car. The Ghibli name is iconic but the new version damaged the brand. Thanks they understood it and new models and versions are more aligned with the prestige behind Maserati name!
The Ghibli is so unbelievably mundane that the 70’s designers are aghast. It is just a sedan that could be produced in Korea. There is nothing special at all.
Maserati needs to get dependable! Anything with electricity going to it will turn useless & impossible to locate in most cases because of design. Then there's the interiors...yeah🤔🤬.

Really enjoy the ghibli. The exhaust note is head turning. The smooth driving profile and powerful acceleration make this a unique experience.
