Very nice work on the cuts Dave. Are you going to try and match the color of the closet or keep the wood grain visible? My choice is always always natural or staining, but that's my vibe.
Loving all of the mods! We can't wait to see the updated garage video ☺️ Pistol looked so happy to be able to see where she's going! I'd leave that beautiful wood grain on the shelves, maybe just put a clear coat on it for protection. Great ideas for the bath area too! 🤗👍🐶💕 (My great nieces/nephews love their "Green Bean Queen" books!!) Sending love & Pistol kisses from Ga!
Great job guys! Safe travels when you start heading north/west! Looking forward to seeing what you do in the "garage" part of your truck..I love how you did the shelving. Ingenuity at its finest! 👍
Hi friends! This was a classic DIY shelf, moment 😉. Lovely to see you. Considering buying a Pistol chair for myself. Maybe my lady enjoys me more hehe.
Shelving turned out perfect…Dave’s measuring made the difference. Curious if you are going to put non-slip shelf liner to keep the plastic bins from sliding. Nice work and videographer did fantastic job showing us how it is done.👏🏼
I just wish you guys could get a bit more organized! Feels like you are slacking a bit. Okay, obviously I'm joking, because you two are making that camper better than when it came off the sales lot. And the Green Bean queen has her throne. All hail the Green Bean Queen!!! Carey On!
Re-adjust the floor mount on the toilet and you can get a 45 degree angle and give plenty of room to sit. Note: you need to pull the toilet off so you will need a new seal or wax ring, whatever it needs to reseat to the floor to prevent leaks.
Thanks! We loved the van but don’t miss it. There are things with each that are better but nothing is perfect. For this chapter we are really enjoying the camper.
I’m starting to like the idea of truck camper esp when you can afford a 4x4 truck. The most important question I have is how do you keep Pistol in proper temp inside camper when you have to leave him?..
@@CareyOnVagabond I’m concerned about if you can still run AC say you’ve got your camper at grocery store or to you unhitched then? Thx so much for reply
@@ldrake3155 It all depends on what battery inverter system you have. Our last van had a massive lithium system that we could run the ac unplugged for hours. Our new camper can’t do that with its current system. Which is why we will be upgrading to a lithium system soon. But with the tinted double pane windows and shades shut it stays way cooler in the camper than the cab of the pickup does. We were recently in the keys and it was 87 degrees. With the windows cracked and fan on we never needed the ac on.
The only thing missing is a crown and septor. Long live the Green Bean Queen
Yes!🙌🙌😁
So glad Pistol loves her throne!
Thank you❤️
The garage is exciting I'm very excited to see what y'all do! Good job on the throne and shelves
Thank you!!
You guys are the masters of space management! Thanks for the good ideas!
Thank you:)
The shelves look great! It’s cool to watch you personalize it for your needs.
Thanks Joe:)
Love the evolution of your home and personal growth. :)

Great!🙌
That was a very clever way to get those shelves mounted in your closet. When will the scones go on a baking trial in your new RV?
Soon!😂
Great timing! I was just trying to figure out how to put extra shelves in our new trailer cabinets! 😁👍
Glad I could help!

The toilet is close to the wall and I’ve turned it until the back of the toilet hits the wall. Cant go further but it’s good now.
You commented in an earlier episode of the terrific outdoor mat you found, sheds sand, etc... cannot fond a link, could you post that again ?, Thx.

@@CareyOnVagabond that was fast !, thx
Wow! 32lbs, my grandma has a Boston and it was maybe 18lbs. She seems a bit on the large size.
You guys are clever and efficient. I hate to ask but, do you ever "miss" the van?

The truck camper stays cooler than the van and we only need to run the AC if it’s really hot.

How are you adjusting to a wet bath. I am Not keen on wet bath. How did you get use to it?
Both vans had wet baths. Works well for us.
These mod should be standard on that camper van

" . . . flush against the wall" ? ? ? Where else would it be?
The entire left side of the toilet was flush against the wall. Spinning the front away from the wall made it easier to sit on the entire seat.
