Man, I've been trying to grow my hair long and I've noticed something just didnt feel right, I felt as if my face was getting wider and fatter and I thought once it gets to a good enough length it will look good but man, my face structure is just like yours and your before and after picture god damn, the shaved off sides do look so much better, im thinking that is my problem and I will probably do that as well
I had a similar problem. The thing that helped the most with it was making my hair look flatter using something like leave in conditioner or pomade or something to keep it down. Other than that, keeping the sides short and growing the top long for a while may also help.
I think your hairstyle is quite attractive and versatile go edgy rock n roll to classy modern. I wish more men would get this haircut I think it suits many!

Swayambhoo Manu Hey m8! Just look in the mirror and when ur jawline is the widest point, you have a triangular face shape. If you have overall a more square face shape, I mean if your sides are going up in almost a straight way but your forehead is more narrow you have a combination as I have. You can literally try every haircut but just don't go for a high fade on the sides. However, low fade looks dope! Try more volume at the top (I would recommend eyebrow length to nose length max) and you should be good to go. Hairstyle like fringe up, brush up, messy quiff, pompadour or side swept should suit us! If you have straight hair, use some sea salt spray to get waves in your hair when blow drying. Cheers :)

I've been growing it out for 2 months now and it's in that somewhat awkward stage where it looks a bit funny when spiked but it's still too short for the side part I'm going for. My hairdresser says I need to grow my hair our 2-3 more months. I have a pretty round face myself so I'm hoping your tip will work for me and not make me look weird. You're right in a sense Paul, I am aware of my flaws, however I do accept them for sure. I am pretty satisfied with my appearance as a whole. The problem with being on RUclips is when you put videos out here, people (especially men) will rip you for any flaw they can find. I'm 14 too and my facial structure is very near to that also, just rock an undercut because it's more popular and easy to style, it could also depend tbh, try going to a mirror and moving your hair to different angles, trying new stuff and you'll find what best suits you.
